Just My Politically Incorrect Point of View

Is the Obama Administration Using Political Profiling?

ALERT: Do you know that your government considers you a right-wing extremist and possibly will turn to acts of terrorism if you don’t agree with Obama and his liberal polocies?

Now, if this isn’t insane enough, the Department of Homeland Security, headed by Secretary Janet Napolitano, released a memo to state/local law enforcement agencies warning about “Right-Wing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment.” Which when loosely translated basically claims that if you are a conservative who doesn’t share Obama and his liberal cronies point of views on abortion; our nation’s first elected African-American president; illegal immigrants (which by the way Secretary Janet Napolitano recently said wasn’t “really illegal”…hmmm); gun control (how dare we as American citizens want to protect ourselves and our families); and if you believe in the need to have another party (3rd party) besides our trust-worthy 2-party system we have now, you just might be a right-wing extremist/terrorist (sounds like a Jeff Foxworthy comedy skit).

You are also lumped in with extremists and terrorist if you oppose free trade, same-sex marriages and taxes. Also if you show paranoia of foreign regimes, oppose the one world government movement, are upset about the decline of the United States stature in the world and if you disagree with all the jobs that have been lost to China and India, the Obama Administration and the Department of Homeland Security have labeled you as such.

Most disgusting of all is labeling our Veterans as possible right-wing extremist/terrorist. This, I believe, is the reason Janet Napolitano should be fired…yes fired from her position. President Obama should not let her resign. He should fire her immediately and publicly apologize to our Veterans. I mean, our President does enjoy apologizing. Now he has a legitimate reason.

OOPS, GUESS I AM A TERRORIST because I honestly have problems with several of the items listed in this memo. On abortion, well…I’m pro-choice or pro-death, take your choice of classification freely. I do not believe our government or any other individual has a right to dictate what I do in my private life. Any person who doesn’t agree must enjoy living in Russia or North Korea.

As for our nation electing its first African-American…hold on…here it comes…I was proud. Now saying that, let me relay my feelings about those individuals who hate/dislike President Obama because of his race. That is unacceptable in my book and the world would be better off without these types of individuals. I may not agree with most of his policies but its not because I’m a racist. It means I have different views and opinions.

On illegal immigration, well that is where Janet Napolitano needs to understand what the term “illegal” means. If you come into our country by “sneaking” over our border, you are here “illegally” and should be treated the same way our citizens are treated when BREAKING THE LAW. I believe we should deport those that are caught and those that hire them should be fined heavily. It’s not because of racism or because they are Mexicans. If Canadians cross over illegally, they should get the same treatment. DEPORTATION.

Sore subject for me is gun control. I will probably be labeled a “gun-nut” by those individuals on the left but I cling to my gun(s). I believe every law-abiding citizen, over the age of 21, who has went through a complete background check and has all mental faculties should be allowed to purchase a gun for self and/or home defense if they so should choose. In the memo released by the DHS, they claim that individuals who purchase handguns and stock pile ammo are individuals you should worry about. Personally, I’m more worried about the criminal who has a gun illegally because he/she is a felon and didn’t obtain their gun(s) by going through the steps listed above.

How can any individual be a possible extremist/terrorist for believing in the need for a 3rd party system? Well, I for one do believe we need more choices than just Republican or Democrat. Look at the past few elections. Most Americans were not thrilled during the Bush/Gore battle. Four years later, we had the choice of Bush or Kerry. Again, most picked what they believe was the lesser of two evils. I did. During both political campaigns, I wish we had another individual to make it more interesting. This doesn’t mean I was to take over the government nor does it make me or anyone else who believes in a 3rd party candidate (see Ron Paul) an extremist.

Same-sex marriage. My personal opinion is that it should be allowed. Let these groups of individuals have the right to be miserable, lose property and have to worry about making alimony payments. I, for one, do not care what you do behind closed doors. However, changing the meaning of words, I do have a problem with that. Marriage has, and always will be, defined as being between a man and a woman. Period. Civil Union is fine with me.

What American out there has never complained about our government taxing us? Show me one who hasn’t complained and I will label him/her the village idiot. As US citizens, we are taxed, doubled taxed and sometimes triple taxed. As reported on Forbes.com, the federal tax rate is currently 35 %. With the Obama Administration tripling the deficit, everyone should be ready for more tax hikes…100 % of us.

The lowest part of the memo released by DHS, is the declaration that those veterans returning home could be “recruited by right-wing extremist groups in order to exploit their skills and knowledge derived from military training and combat.” I have never been in the military but have worked closely with serveral of these men and women. They are some of the most patriotic individuals anyone will ever meet and we owe them the respect they rightously deserve. Just read the memo and decide for yourself: http://wnd.com/images/dhs-rightwing-extremism.pdf

All I can say is “WTF!” Under the Bush Administration those who didn’t go along with their beliefs were deemed “unpatriotic.” To declare American citizens who disagree with you as “right-wing extremist and possible terrorist” is worse. The only thing they left out of the memo was to insult people who are religious.

Interesting enough, no left-leaning political ideologies were identified. No mention of Islamic extremists either. No mention of environmental extremists (see ELF). Only individuals who have “conservative” or “right-wing” philosophies are identified.

More likely, the Department of Homeland Security put out this memo to combat those “extreme right wing” individuals who attended the Tea Party Protest all over America. It is also interesting to note that another memo from the Missouri Information Analysis Center, better known as MIAC, was released in February 2009, claiming the same identical thing. Just another example of plagiarism by this administration.

It is entitled “MIAC Strategic Report: The Modern Militia Movement.” It also was a “law enforcement sensitive” report that categorize certain citizens as being potential violence-prone “militia members.” In the report, you can be labeled a “right-wing extremist for opposing the United Nations, the New World Order, Gun Control, the violation of Posse Comitatu, the Federal Reserve, Income Tax, The Ammunition and Accountability Act, a possible Constitutional Convention, The North American Union, Universal Service Program, Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), Abortion and Illegal Immigration, just to name a few. Sounds familiar to what the DHS released.

I mean, come on people, our elected President has friends who can be labeled the same. David Ayers is a known associate of President Obama, yet since he is on the left and shares the same beliefs as them, so he is only labeled a “radical.” Oh really?

This is the same man who was with the Weathermen organization, a far left terrorist group. This label is correct because Ayers and his close friend, Terry Robbins, terrorized several individuals and government buildings by placing home-made bombs at the Pentagon among serveral other sites, in an attempt to cause death and destruction.

Mr. Ayers even stated in several interviews that he “did not regret setting bombs and I feel we didn’t do enough”, and, when asked if he (Ayers) would do it all again, he stated “I don’t want to discount the possibility.” Radical or left-wing terrorist? I choose terrorist.

Why was ACORN not mentioned in this memo? This group is truly a left-wing extremist group and has been known to terrorize and bully individuals, companies, corporations and the US government. Even during the Clinton Administration, ACORN was found to be misspending government grants. Let’s not forget the Voter Fraud this organization promoted and committed. Makes you wonder why the DHS and Janet Napolitano failed to mention all the left-wing extremist/terrorist groups. Read an article on ACORN, using this link: http://rottenacorn.com/ , and Michelle Malkin’s article at: http://michellemalkin.com/2008/06/25/the-acorn-obama-knows/

It is what it is, as the saying goes. Using Political Profiling to silence those that oppose your views, beliefs or political philosophies is not an acceptable practice. Everyone has a right to agree or disagree and should not have to worry about those in power labeling them as extremists and terrorist for their conservative beliefs.

Remember, each story has two sides and I believe we should have the luxury to hear, see and read both sides and make up our own minds.
