Everyone knows that the MSM has been covering for Obama. Now we have the soon-to-be extinct liberal media pushing a true Astroturf movement being called of all things the “Coffee Party Movements.” This left-wing organization is being called a “phenomenon” by the alphabet-media and is the alternative to the Tea Party Movement.
This left-wing organization claims to “gives voice to Americans who want to see cooperation in government.” What that means is they want to see everyone get in lockstep with all of Obama’s radical policy proposals. The opening mission statement informs those not brainwashed by the hope-n-change BS that “as voters and grassroots volunteers, we will support leaders who work toward positive solutions, and hold accountable those who obstruct them.”
Who has Obama, and the Democratic Party, labeled “obstructionist.”
So, the Coffee Party calls itself a “grassroots organization?” Well, this is just more BS. The organizer of this “grassroots” movement, Annabel Park, is an activist from the Obama campaign, who also worked at the New York Times. Also, this libtard was the organizer of United for Obama on YouTube. It is just a co-inky-dink that this “grassroots” movement popped up soon after David Plouffe, Obama’s campaign manager, was brought back to help Obama.
So now that the Coffee Party has been exposed as a fraud and phony “grassroots” movement, we can go back to drinking our tea. The Coffee Party is a left-wing organization (think ACORN, SEIU) created by team Obama to combat the peaceful protester involved with the Tea Party.
After reading what the NY Times and WaPo have written about Annabel Park, one would think that she was just some ordinary person who was a disaffected outsider trying to start a grassroots movement. Balderdash.
According to an article by WaPo in 2008, Annabel Park got her start by campaigning for Democrat Senator James Webb in 2006.
From http://www.leftcoastrebel.com/2010/03/bitter-cup-of-coffee-party-digging-up.html ‘Annabel Park has been associated with a large number of leftist groups and also associated with Asian Americans for Obama. She has been interviewed in the past by CNN’s Anderson Cooper.’
She was a Strategy Analyst for the New York Times, yet I don’t remember seeing that mentioned by the New York Time’s recent article about her and the Coffee Potheads. What a stunning ommission on their part. Purely accidental on their part, no doubt.
At http://legalinsurrection.blogspot.com/2010/03/coffee-party-parasite.html one can see one of her many hate-filled tweets (among many other things mentioned concerning her).
“We need to re-engage the grassroots movement that got Obama elected. We need to get busy, cannot give it away to teabaggers.”
I see no reason to believe that that she wants to reach out to Tea Party people and engage in constructive dialogue.
Whereas the Tea Party movement is comprised of Democrats, Republicans, Libertarians and Independents and sprang up to confront the out-of-control spending and massive increases in the federal debt (on pace to rocket upwards to around $20 trillion dollars in a decade and a half or two) built up by both Republicans and Democrats, the Coffee Party is a reactionary movement meant to undermine the Tea Party.
The Coffee Pothead movement was hijacked from the beginning by someone who has been a Democratic activist, and an Obama political operative.
