For all those lefties who preach to opponents of ObamaCare about the awesomeness of the UK’s health care system…look a here. Horror stories are continuing to creep out about government-run health care and it’s effects on our English cousins. Their National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence, commonly called NICE, isn’t so NICE.
You see, much like ObamaCare, NICE is designed to save our English cousins money. How do they do it? Rationed health care. This is the same thing that Progressives are bringing to our health care system. The name of our rationing board is the Independent Payment Advisory Board. Obama’s Budget Director, Peter Orszag informed everyone about the health care rationing and who will be in charge of these decisions.
So, back to the story. Thanks to NICE…our English cousins who have the misfortune of being stricken with cancer aren’t allowed a miracle drug that could extend their lives. Say it isn’t so. Of course if they live, this means NICE will have to continue paying for this medication and this isn’t good when you’re trying to save money.

Thousands of cancer sufferers are set to be denied a ‘miracle’ drug on the NHS that is routinely used in virtually every other Western country.
The Government’s rationing body says Avastin is not cost-effective despite evidence that it can prolong the lives of bowel cancer patients by more than two years.
The final decision is due next month, but NICE, the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence, has already made clear the cost breaches its threshold for NHS use.
Sounds identical to what Obama’s Budget Director said when he informed people that a rationing panel would make health care decisions…not doctors. I recall someone else talking about health care rationing. Wasn’t it what’s his name…
Hard to defend when it’s their own words. ObamaCare is all about health care rationing and government control. People who spoke out about this were called racists, terrorists, Nazis and un-American. Hope all the ones who wanted ObamaCare choke on crow…and have to depend on the government to cure you!
