Hey Obama! Are those big ears listening? Americans want the Federal government to do its job. Secure our borders. Stop illegal immigration this year. We know you will plug those big ears and continue your wet-dream of amnesty for ILLEGALS just as you plugged those ears and rammed through health care.
As President Obama and Congress consider whether and how to go forward with comprehensive immigration reform in an election year, a new USA Today/Gallup poll finds Americans placing about equal importance on the two sides of the immigration-policy coin.
Roughly 4 in 10 Americans rate “controlling U.S. borders to halt the flow of illegal immigrants into the U.S.” as extremely important for the government to deal with this year. Nearly as many, 36%, say “developing a plan to deal with the large number of illegal immigrants who are already living in the U.S.” is extremely important. Altogether, two-thirds say each goal is either extremely or very important.
We all know Obama will make this a ‘crisis’ and ram through a bill to allow amnesty to every ILLEGAL immigrant in the United States of America. Already, Obama’s ‘deficit commission, which includes O’s favorite visitor Andy Stern, is claiming that amnesty will bring down the deficit. This is another bold-faced lie.
In the same Gallup Poll, 61% of Americans believe illegal immigrants put an unfair burden on our schools, our hospitals and our government services. 55 % said they were “very concerned” that allowing illegal immigrants to stay in the United States might be encouraging others to come here, and 53 % claimed they were “very concerned” that illegal immigrants making low wages might make U.S. employers less willing to pay American workers a decent wage.
Despite these numbers, Obama and the Democrats want to make this a wedge issue in their attempt to garnish the Hispanic vote. Dems have already attempted to make it a racial issue, something they are experts in.
Even O-big-ears has slandered the citizens of Arizona and Police officers. Obama openly mislead Americans about the tough Arizona law. He used another one of his asinine analogies about immigrants being forced to show their papers while they walk with their children to get ice cream.
What the pretend ‘constitutional scholar’ forgot to mention is that a Police Officer, by law, cannot ask for ‘papers’ unless already engaged in a legal stop or investigations and have probable cause. The first thing any Police officer is going to ask for is your identification so he/she knows who they are dealing with.
Another fact that Obama, and the left-wing nuts, forgot to mention is that the Arizona law mimics federal laws that are already on the books, but not enforced. Federal Law requires all immigrants to carry, on them , their ‘papers.’ All Americans have their identification on them at all times. Why should any immigrant be allowed not to have theirs?
That’s right. The Immigration and Nationality Act details what immigrants must have to enter the United States. Maybe Obama should read up on such laws. It should be easy for him to understand since he is a ‘constitutional scholar.’
By the way, Democrats want to force Americans to carry a National I.D. card that uses biometrics. Yep, Americans must carry their papers while it’s racist to ask illegals for theirs. Makes sense huh?
To end, I would like to point to someone Obama often brings up in his thousands of speeches…Teddy Roosevelt. Roosevelt has a unique opinion about illegal immigrants and I would like to share it with the self-proclaimed ‘student of history.
