We have seen a strange occurence when it comes to Obama’s ability to attract flies and rodents. Is it halitosis? Maybe these rodents are smelling the decay of an American presidency.

Embarrassing: Inmates got over $9 Million in Homebuyer Tax Credits

How in the hell is Obama going to save money by cutting waste and fraud in his ObamaCare scheme when his administration can’t even stop inmates from collecting over $9 million in homebuyers tax credits? This is another one of those “are you fucking kidding me” articles involving another Obama failure.

CNBC reports:

Nearly 1,300 prison inmates wrongly received more than $9 million in tax credits for homebuyers despite being locked up when they claimed they bought a home, a government investigator reported Wednesday.

The investigator said 241 of the inmates were serving life sentences.

In all, more than 14,100 taxpayers wrongly received at least $26.7 million in tax credits that were meant to boost the nation’s slumping housing markets, said the report by J. Russell George, the Treasury Department’s inspector general for tax administration.

Some taxpayers received the credit for homes purchased before the tax break was started. In other cases, multiple taxpayers improperly used the same home to claim multiple credits. Investigators found one home that was used by 67 taxpayers to claim credits.

“This is very troubling,” George said. “Congress created and modified the homebuyer credit to stimulate the economy and help taxpayers achieve the American dream, not to line the pockets of wrongdoers.”

Obama can’t even cut fraud in his own policies. I’m sure he will cut fraud in our health care system, which only makes up 1/6th of our economy.

LA becomes 1st state with a Democrat legislature to oppose requirement to purchase health insurance

DOH! Even Democrats hate my health care mandate. Must be racism!

 

Ouch. Another side effect of ObamaCare. Louisiana is the first state with a Democratically controlled legislature that opposes ObamaCare’s health insurance mandate. Just wait until other states follow suit. 

The Medical News reports: 

Last Friday, June 18, 2010, Louisiana became the first state with a Democrat-controlled legislature to oppose a requirement to purchase health insurance—the centerpiece of President Barack Obama’s health reform agenda.  Louisiana House Bill 1474, which passed the Louisiana Senate with strong bipartisan support, will soon head to Gov. Bobby Jindal’s desk.  The measure is modeled after the American Legislative Exchange Council’s (ALEC) Freedom of Choice in Health Care Act now introduced or announced in 42 states. 

House Bill 1474, which was supported by 14 House Democrats and 12 Senate Democrats, states that ”No resident of this state, regardless of whether he has or is eligible for health insurance coverage under any policy or program provided by or through his employer, or a plan sponsored by the state or the federal government, shall be required to obtain or maintain a policy of individual health insurance coverage.”  The measure faced a tough battle in the Senate, where sponsors conceded to an amendment that may hamper Louisiana’s ability to file an additional 10th Amendment-based lawsuit against the federal health reform law. 

Looks like even Democrats hate ObamaCare’s insurance mandate. These Democrats probably read the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services report that informed America about the real truth of ObamaCare. Obama’s health care takeover does nothing but the opposite of what he claimed. 

We have learned that medical cost and insurance will rise. We’ve learned that millions will not get to keep their doctor or health insurance plans. 18 million will face jail time or forced to pay a new tax that the IRS will enforce. Not to forget the millions that will be affected when doctors refuse to accept Medicare/Medicaid due to low government payments.  The CBO admitted, only after the law was passed, that ObamaCare doesn’t bend the curve down…it adds $149 billion to the deficit. 

The Obama pattern continues. Obama claims his plan will do x,y,z and the opposite happens. At least some Democrats are waking up and fighting against Obama’s ever-growing government.

Obama Administration Halts Sand Berm Dredging along Louisiana’s Coast

The Obama administration is shutting down dredging intended to create sand berms that would protect the Louisiana coastline from oil, despite pleas from a local parish president to allow the work to continue.

The President who ‘won’t rest until the hole is plugged’ is doing everything he can to make the worst environmental disaster on record even worse.

WDSU.com reports:

The federal government is shutting down the dredging that was being done to create protective sand berms in the Gulf of Mexico.

 The berms are meant to protect the Louisiana coastline from oil. But the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Department has concerns about where the dredging is being done.

 Plaquemines Parish President Billy Nungesser, who was one of the most vocal advocates of the dredging plan, has sent a letter to President Barack Obama, pleading for the work to continue.

 Nungesser said the government has asked crews to move the dredging site two more miles farther off the coastline.

 ”Once again, our government resource agencies, which are intended to protect us, are now leaving us vulnerable to the destruction of our coastline and marshes by the impending oil,” Nungesser wrote to Obama. “Furthermore, with the threat of hurricanes or tropical storms, we are being put at an increased risk for devastation to our area from the intrusion of oil. The federal government is shutting down the dredging that was being done to create protective sand berms in the Gulf of Mexico.

The ‘on it from day one’ administration is incompetent and dangerous. We have learned that the Obama administration turned away help from other countries. We learn that the MMS knew about the oil well cracks and did nothing to shut down the BP Deepwater Horizon rig. We have seen the Governor of Louisiana, Bobby Jindal, fight the Army Corp of Engineers to get these necessary berms built only to have the Obama administration halt their construction.

Now the dredging has been stopped because the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Department is worried about animals over humans. This is why we find ourselves in this mess today. Instead of allowing oil exploration on land, environmental eco-terrorist, aided by politicians, forced companies to search for oil in deep water oceans. We see the effect this has had.

Why is the Obama administration making things worse? Is it being done to make the situation worse, thus making it easier for Obama to pass his cap-and-trade energy scheme? Someone needs to hold this assclowns accountable.

New Home Sales Plunge 33% as Obama’s Tax Credits End

Another prime example of the Obama scheme. Obama and his ‘economist’ would point to the number of new homes sales to ‘prove’ the economy was recovering. Now that his $8,000 new home buyer tax credits are through, we see the real numbers come to light. New home sales plunged 33%  in May. A new record for Obama to claim.

The Washington Post reports:

Sales of new homes collapsed in May, sinking 33 percent to the lowest level on record as potential buyers stopped shopping for homes once they could no longer receive government tax credits.

The bleak report from the Commerce Department is the first sign of how the end of federal tax credits could weigh on the nation’s housing market.

If Obama never offered the freebies, we would have seen the true numbers on the economy. Instead, these tax credits were nothing more than a delay tactic to hide the truth about the struggling economy.

New-home sales in May fell from April to a seasonally adjusted annual sales pace of 300,000, the government said Wednesday. That was the slowest sales pace on records dating back to 1963. And it’s the largest monthly drop on record. Sales have now sunk 78 percent from their peak in July 2005.

Analysts were startled by the depth of the sales drop.

“We all knew there would be a housing hangover from the expiration of the tax credit,” wrote Mike Larson, real estate and interest rate analyst at Weiss Research. “But this decline takes your breath away.”

To progressives this is success. Obama offered $8,000 credits. Where do you think he gets that $8,000? From you and I, the taxpayers. This scam was nothing more that a delay tactic to hide the truth about the economy. Another Obama program that failed. The truth is in the numbers.

Media Double Standard?

Tell me if it doesn’t seem as if this is the epitome of hypocrisy. The Fox News website headline says “Ban Judge Has Oil Investments.” The headline refers to a story about US  District Judge Martin Feldman. Feldman is the judge who lifted the deep drilling moratorium of Obama. And apparently the judge owning stocks in various oil concerns is a conflict of interest – at least to the easily outraged crowd.

But where is their selective outrage when Obama and his cronies have a clear conflict of interest in all the global climate exchanges, boards of directors on climate decision making concerns and involvement in forcing climate change legislation down the throats of the nation’s citizen’s who are very vocal we do not want it? If this isn’t blatant hypocrisy I’ll kiss your ass in the town square.

According to the AP article on Fox the judge has stock in “Ocean Energy, a Houston-based company, as well as Quicksilver Resources, Prospect Energy, Peabody Energy, Halliburton, Pengrowth Energy Trust, Atlas Energy Resources, Parker Drilling and others.” The Judge’s holdings are part of a 2008 financial disclosure report.

So I would assume the article is calling into question the judge’s ability to rule by law and not his portfolio. Okay. If that’s the standard, fine by me. But that standard better be applied evenly across the board.

Why is it when there is the slightest hint of any possible taint with a Republican or conservative, the default position is they are guilty? And as Feldman is a Reagan appointee, clearly he’s disqualified, right friends?

But Obama sits in Rev Wright’s church for 20 years and he never heard a word. Terrorist Bill Ayers being his close pal and co-sitter on numerous boards for education, public & charitable fund disbursement and the like is nothing to be concerned about either. Thug Tony Rezko being Obama’s buddy is also of no concern at all. No, that’s part of that “vast right-wing conspiracy” Hillary was talking about.

Who is telling the truth? Is it Sen. Jon Kyl or President Obama?

Kyl told supporters that during his meeting with President Obama, on securing the border, Obama said: “The problem is, . . . if we secure the border, then you all (Republicans) won’t have any reason to support ‘comprehensive immigration reform.’

Of course the Obama administration denies this. John McCain informs us that Jon Kyl is telling the truth.

Well, this pretty much proves what Republican Senator Jon Kyl said is the truth. Isn’t it great to use Obama’s own words against him? A president refusing to protect our borders against criminal immigrants due to political purposes. This is unconstitutional for a president to refuse to uphold our laws. Impeach!
