Obama's continued attack upon Free Speech
Control the messenger, control the message!
It looks like Big Government and Big Sis (Janet Napolitano) want to regulate what internet sites TSA workers view.
CBS News reports:
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is blocking certain websites from the federal agency’s computers, including halting access by staffers to any Internet pages that contain a “controversial opinion,” according to an internal email obtained by CBS News.
The email was sent to all TSA employees from the Office of Information Technology on Friday afternoon.
It states that as of July 1, TSA employees will no longer be allowed to access five categories of websites that have been deemed “inappropriate for government access.”
The categories include:
? Chat/Messaging
? Controversial opinion
? Criminal activity
? Extreme violence (including cartoon violence) and gruesome content
? Gaming
Controversial opinions? Who deems what internet pages are “controversial” and what is considered ”controversial?” I’m guessing anyone/anything that expresses opposition to Obama will be deemed “controversial.”
Just the continued attack upon Free Speech by the Obama administration.

I googled “Democrats pass $1.1 trillion deemed budget” and found nothing but bloggers reporting on this issue. The Democrats attached a document to an emergency war supplement bill (H.R. 4899) that “deemed and passed” a non-existent $1.12 trillion dollar budget for 2011. This allows the Democrats to immediately continue their spending spree in 2011 without following a real budget…unless they’re voted out in November (let us pray).
Not a single Republican voted for this bill and 38 Democrats joined them in rejecting this fraud upon the American taxpayers. I also blame the 6 Republicans and 2 Democrats who produced “not voting’ votes. If they would have joined the Repubs and Dems who rejected this fraud, the bill would have been killed.
This is the first time, since the Congressional budget process was started, that Congress will not pass a budget. This scheme will allow Democrats to continue their out-of- control, deficit increasing spending without any budget restraints. The reason for this fraud? Democrats do not want to put their names next to a vote on another trillion-dollar plus budget before the November midterms.

Let us look at this lawsuit. The Department of Justice believes Arizona’s illegal immigration law is unconstitutional but refuses, thanks to Obama, to enforce the federal law which is identical. Maybe Arizona should sue the Department of Justice for not enforcing federal immigration laws?
The Associated Press reports:
The U.S. Justice Department on Tuesday filed a lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of Arizona’s new law targeting illegal immigrants, setting the stage for a clash between the federal government and the state over the nation’s toughest immigration crackdown.
The lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court in Phoenix argues that Arizona’s law requiring state and local police to question and possibly arrest illegal immigrants during the enforcement of other laws such as traffic violations usurps federal authority.
Law Enforcement Officers in Arizona can only ask for identification ONLY after a lawful contact has been made such as a traffic stop. So much for Obama’s false analogy of being fearful about ”walking across the street with your kids to get ice cream” and being stopped and asked for your papers.
“In our constitutional system, the federal government has pre-eminent authority to regulate immigration matters,” the lawsuit says. “This authority derives from the United States Constitution and numerous acts of Congress. The nation’s immigration laws reflect a careful and considered balance of national law enforcement, foreign relations, and humanitarian interests.”
The government is seeking an injunction to delay the July 29 implementation of the law until the case is resolved. It ultimately wants the law declared invalid.
The government contends that the Arizona law violates the supremacy clause of the Constitution, a legal theory that says federal laws override state laws. It is already illegal under federal law to be in the country illegally, but Arizona is the first state to make it a state crime and add its own punishment and enforcement tactics.
It is already ILLEGAL under federal law to be in the country ILLEGALLY. What else is a state supposed to do when the Federal Government refuses to enforce the law of the land as it is required to do in the U.S. Constitution? What else is a state to do when the President of the United States claims that immigration laws are “ill-conceived” and “unenforceable?”
If the Federal Government refuses to enforce the laws of the land, what should states do? They should do the same thing Arizona plans on doing. ENFORCING THE LAW! It is amusing that the Department of Justice is using the Constitution to sue Arizona while the Department of Justice refuses to enforce the laws of the United States. Hypocrisy 101.
I have a solution to the illegal immigration debate. Make our Immigration Laws identical to Mexican Immigration Laws. Problem solved.

Obama’s economy is heading in the right direction if you’re a follower and following the Cloward-Piven Strategy. Last Friday’s Bureau of Labor Statistics report was the worst private sector June jobs report in decades. Despite this little news nugget, Joe Biden is off on his “Summer of Recovery” tour while Obama hits the golf courses…holds Barbeques…hosts music concerts…attends fundraisers…and gives speeches blaming everyone but himself.

Shortly after the release of the government’s Employment Situation Report courtesy of the Bureau of Labor Statistics this morning, my overall evaluation was that, “While the results aren’t totally depressing, they’re still quite unimpressive.”
Let me amend that. Maybe total depression is justified. The tables and historical context coming up shortly, combined with the president’s cluelessness, will show readers why.
To fully grasp all of this, first one needs to understand the difference between what has really happened and what people usually hear relating to these monthly jobs reports.
Every month what has really happened out here in the real world with jobs and unemployment, also known as the not seasonally adjusted (NSA) data, is “smoothed out” by means of seasonal adjustment.
There’s really nothing wrong with this statistical technique, except for one thing: the BLS doesn’t do a particularly good job of flagging its data as “seasonally adjusted” in its main report. Because of that, most of the press and seemingly all politicians seem to believe that the seasonally adjusted numbers represent what really happened.

Snidely Whiplash
Here is my effort to make their old age more to their liking. I know it’s not easy being a leftist. Progressivsim requires a dearth of intelligent consideration, therefore the mind of the lefty has largely atrophied by the time they reach old age, which is doubtful anyway, what with all that tear gas, rubber bullets and Marxist sophistry that assaults their bodies and minds.
But for the lefty who has somehow managed to survive all the emoting and various other efforts they indulge in to pass the time, here is my thoughtful list of the 5 best places on this Earth for the old lefty to retire to. The following list is in no specific order.
Russia – this one is a no-brainer, therefore the more likely choice of the old leftist, as using their brains is a challenge with which they are distinctly unfamiliar. Russia rocks for them. Former Commies run the joint. They hate America with a passion, so there is that clear connection for the DA, or “Disgruntled American” as I delineated in my last piece on Tea Party membership requirements. And yes, DA is completely interchangeable with “asswipe” should one prefer the more traditional term for these self-loathers.
Russia has it all for the old lefty – massive government, deficit spending, lines to get bread, meat and toilet paper – ahhhh, the good old days, huh Lefties? Don’t wanna have to think for yourself? This is the place to be for sure. Like tiny apartments in huge monolithic “apartment blocks” as the highrise dwellings are often referred to? Into too much furniture shoved into tiny living spaces? Enjoy borsht? Like the sound of cries and moans as entire families are drug off in the wee hours of darkness for new digs in Siberia? Russia is for you.
