Maybe the top law enforcement officers should issue a warning to Muslims to stop killing U.S. citizens, stop attempted bombings and stop with the honor killings.
WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Attorney General Eric Holder on Wednesday warned against alienating the U.S. Muslim community, in a veiled criticism of a congressional probe into the radicalization of Muslims at home.
Is this a warning that if we alienate them they might blow up themselves or a few building? Holder and the entire Obama regime have an issue with calling a spade a spade. Remember, this is the group that stopped using phrases like the “war on terror” and “Islamic extremists” so not to offend Muslims.
The House of Representatives Homeland Security Committee will open a series of hearings on Thursday about the increasing terrorism threat against the United States, with the first hearing drawing criticism because of its sole focus on Muslim Americans.
That’s because the ones killing Americans (or attempting to kill Americans) have all been Muslim Americans.
The panel chairman, New York Republican Representative Peter King, has repeatedly criticized, saying the Muslim American community has not cooperated with law enforcement agencies and that some mosques encourage radicalization.
The article leaves out the fact that King had to have upgraded security due to threats from….Muslims.
But Holder said that leaders and members of the Muslim community in the United States “have contributed significantly” to resolving cases and also said focusing on a single constituency was risky.
“Tips that we have received, information that has been shared has been critical to our efforts to disrupting plots that otherwise might have occurred,” Holder told reporters during a news conference on another issue.
Tips from the Muslim community are rare and CAIR has posters up in Muslim neighborhoods telling Muslims not to cooperate with the F.B.I.
“My focus is on individuals as opposed to communities and I think that is what we need to be focused on, what is it that drives individuals to do certain things,” he said. “We don’t want to stigmatize, we don’t want to alienate entire communities.”
King has repeatedly defended the need for the hearings and the focus on Muslims, citing attempts by the militant group al Qaeda and its affiliates to openly recruit Muslims in the United States to launch attacks.
At the same time, King has acknowledged that the vast majority of Muslim Americans have no connection to terrorism.
When will Holder and the Obama regime realize that appeasement doesn’t work? We have had over 126 Muslims arrested over the past two years on terrorism related charges. Here are a few of these Muslims Holder doesn’t won’t to offend…
How about the African-American Muslim convert ’opposed to U.S. military operations’ drove to a recruiting center and opened fire on two soldiers, fatally wounding one.
How about the Nigerian Muslim who attempted to use his underwear to blow up a airliner..in Detroit..on Christmas Eve?
How about the Pakistani-born U.S. citizen that wanted to blow up Time Square?
How about Major Nidal Hasan, the Fort Hood Army shooter?
How about the Seattle Christmas Tree bomber who wanted to kill Americans as they celebrated the Christmas holiday?
How about the Muslim college student in Texas who wanted to blow up nuclear sites and George W. Bush?
What do these people have in common? They’re all Muslims and they all practice Islam. The list of terrorism/attempted terrorism could go on and on but I think most understand where the problem comes from. Some just want to be politically correct and ignore the facts.
I think Dennis Miller put it best when he said Holder could not get a job as public defender in the real world.
An afterthought is Holder needs to crawl back down into Hell from which he came, and take Obama with him.
