Behind Obama, Nancy Pelosi is the most prolific liar in political history.

There was never a Clinton ‘surplus.’ The ‘surplus’ was based on CBO projections, and fuzzy accounting tricks, over a decade. The CBO didn’t predict the 9/11 attacks, the stock market crash, the Afghanistan and Iraq wars or Katrina.

On the fiscal responsibility issue, Pelosi forgot to mention that under her leadership, Democrats refused to pass a budget. There would be no budget debate had Pelosi done her job. Democrats were scared to pass another multi-trillion-dollar budget that would leave another trillion dollar deficit before the 2010 midterms.

Since 2007, Nancy Pelosi has added over $5 trillion-dollars to the national deficit.

As for Obama’s stimulus and job creation. Nancy lied so much she was stuttering and stammering like Mel Tillis. Using the Obama regimes own numbers, one can see Pelosi’s bold-face lies.

Obama stimulus was to keep unemployment from going above 8 percent. How did that go? We had 23 straight months of 9% plus unemployment. That is a failure.

Obama and the Democrats said there would be 137.6 million jobs if the stimulus was passed. Today, the U.S. has only 130.7 million gainfully employed workers. That leaves them with a   6.9 million jobs deficit. Even if you are stupid enough to believe Pelosi’s claim that the stimulus ‘saved or created’ 3.5 million jobs, they are still 3.4 million short of what was promised. This on top of the fact that the private sector has shed 11.8 million jobs since the Obama stimulus was passed.

This is what Pelosi-Reid and Obama have accomplished since 2007:

The Pelosi-led Congress tripled the deficit.

Unemployment has doubled from 2007 to present.

Since 2007, the economy has lost 8.1 million jobs.

Congress has its lowest approval ratings in history.

Did Obama want to be President so he could Golf, Party and Play Basketball at the Expense of US Taxpayers

Obama is truly incompetent and feckless. As the U.S., and the world around him burns, Obama is still voting ‘present.’ The U.S. has a deficit crisis, which he added to, and instead of working with Congress to get things under control, O passes responsibility like a point guard. Is there any crisis that grabs Obama’s attention besides spending, sports, partying and fundraising?

Does Obama not know that the world, and taxpayers, are watching. As Japan faces three national disasters with the earthquakes, tsunami and nuclear plant meltdowns, Obama was out golfing. Our U.S. soldiers were rushing to aid our Japanese allies and were contaminated with nuclear matter. Where was Obama? He was cutting jokes at the Gridiron Dinner, ordering theMarine Band to play ““Born in the U.S.A.” As Americans and our allies struggle, Obama is absent. The world is having a few problems and Obama is taking on non-existent ones. Americans need jobs and instead of turning his ‘laser-focus’ on this, Obama is talking about bullies and celebrating “Women’s History Month.”

This past week, Obama was very busy handling the small stuff. Wednesday, we found Obama watching the Charlotte Bobcats vs. Chicago Bulls. Yes, Obama invited politicians and friends from both cities to come and watch the game at the White House. Charlotte is where the DNC is holding its national convention. 

Then on Thursday, Obama held his conference on bullying. Then on Friday, Obama was at the White House, honoring the Stanley Cup Champions. On Saturday, he was on the links, playing his 61st round of golf.

Now as we watch the disasters add up in Japan and Libya, we learn Obama is making his NCAA tournament picks. Politicians from both political parties are asking why Obama is so aloof and passes responsibilities on important issues such as the budget debate. Americans are realizing that Obama was a mistake, thus his approval rating is at 43%. Only the hardcore ideologues still support the ineptness.

When will Obama start taking responsibility and start acting like a president instead of a college slacker who still enjoys partying and sports? The world is watching while Obama is dithering on his job responsibilities. It’s hard work when you concentrate on all the unimportant issues and fail to lead.

This will be another hard week for Obama. Thursday Obama will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day by brewing beer for a party and then he is off to Brazil on Friday for a Latin-American tour.

Being President is a hard job. When will Obama start being one?

Obama’s Delimma: “Cut Social Security or Cut Spending”

The talks of cutting entitlements continues and so does Obama’s spending. Social Security is one of the entitlement programs that is adding to our deficit. Since Obama has spent record amounts of money in two years, his economic team wants him to cut Social Security. Here’s an excellent idea for Obama:

Just Stop Spending! We always here these politicians say cut this and cut that but never do they say stop spending. Obama talks about the need for us to ‘live within our means’ then rushes off to spend more taxpayer money. It’s not a hard decision to make when you are the biggest spending president the U.S. has ever seen.

Obama even went as far as to set up a ‘deficit commission.’ Most of us were skeptical and pointed out it was all political. Obama’s deficit commission was a waste of tax dollarsbecause when they put forth their recommendations to cut Obama’s debt, Obama ignored them and put out a $3.73 trillion dollar 2012 budget that produces a $1.1 trillion dollar deficit.

So, since Obama refuses to stop spending, the talks of cutting social security continues.

The Hill reports:

Social Security reform is splitting President Obama’s economic and political advisers.

Obama is being pulled in opposite directions by those whose priorities are fiscal and those whose No. 1 concern is electoral.

Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner, National Economic Council Director Gene Sperling and Sperling’s deputy, Jason Furman — leading figures in the president’s economic team — are pressing Obama to cut Social Security benefits if necessary, say sources familiar with their positions. 

But Obama’s political team, led by David Axelrod, David Plouffe and Jim Messina, are urging the president to understand that backing benefit cuts could prove disastrous to his 2012 reelection hopes, sources say. 

The political team is winning the argument so far, but internal debate rages at the White House as Republicans in Congress insist sweeping efforts to restore government finances must include Social Security reform.

 “Gene Sperling and Jason Furman and some of the Treasury people started with the posture that we’re the best people to reform Social Security — that was when the Democrats had a majority in both houses of Congress,” said a Democratic policy expert who has met Obama’s economic policy team over the past two years. 

“The same people have continued to make that argument even as they’re now responding to conservatives who are stronger in the Congress,” the source, who strongly opposes benefits cuts, told The Hill. 

“There are two camps,” the source added. “One camp wants to be able to throw a bone to Republicans and some [centrist] Democrats.

 “The political people would prefer not to be accused of being the party that cuts Social Security in those ways. Some political people would like to see the president out there defending the program and making the case that it has nothing to do with the deficit.”

A second Democratic source, who has pushed to reform Social Security by increasing the flow of revenues to the trust fund and reducing benefits, said, “Geithner’s been the most forward-leaning.”

Obama’s economics team is telling the president that benefit cuts would be less draconian with Democrats controlling the White House. Cutting costs for the safety net would help bond markets and restrain future interest rates, they add. 

Social Security became “cash negative” last year as it began paying out more in benefits than it received in revenues. Thus, the federal government has begun borrowing in capital markets to pay off its IOUs to the trust fund.

Al Franken says Corporations are coming after the Internet

I believe Al forgot that it is his boss (Obama) that wanted an internet kill switch. His boss also wants to make it easier to wiretap the internet. His boss also wants to force Americans to have ‘internet IDs’. His boss also wants veto powers over internet domain names.

We can’t leave out Obama’s DOJ internet tracking plan. Then you can add the FCC and it’s net neutrality, which the courts ruled they do not have the power to regulate the internet. Oh and how about the Democrats calling for the return of the “Fairness Doctrine.”

But Al Franken (D-Dumb Comedian) wants people to believe it is the corporations who want to take over the internet. That may be the funniest joke Al’s ever told.

Politico reports:

AUSTIN, Texas — Sen. Al Franken claimed Monday that big corporations are “hoping to destroy” the Internet and issued a call to arms to several hundred tech-savvy South by Southwest attendees to preserve net neutrality.

“I came here to warn you, the party may be over,” Franken said. “They’re coming after the Internet hoping to destroy the very thing that makes it such an important [medium] for independent artists and entrepreneurs: its openness and freedom.”

Franken goes on to bitch and lie about Comcast and how corporations are after the internet…blah..blah…blah. Then Franken lies even more…

…Franken said talk of a “government takeover” of the Internet by net neutrality critics has as much credibility as claims of “death panels” in the health care legislation and claims that “Obama’s a Muslim,” calling them a “pantheon of lies.”

Except there are death panelsin the ObamaCare bill (end of life planning) and Obama stated he was a Muslim…by accident. As we have learned over the past two years, the truth is kryptonite to Democrats.

China Passes US for #1 in manufactoring

It’s time to wake up America.

Ending a 110-year run for America as the world’s dominant producer, China has overtaken the United States as the world’s largest manufacturer. According to economics research firm IHS Global Insight, China manufactured 19.9% of the world’s goods in 2010, while the U.S. accounted for 19.4%.

This marks the first time since 1850 that China has held the crown as the world’s largest manufacturer, the latest sign of the nation’s economic resurgence. (See: China Overtakes Japan in Economic Clout: Is the U.S. Next?)

The U.S. “should be worried” by the news, Deborah Wince-Smith, chief executive of the Council on Competitiveness, tells The Financial Times. “This shows the need for the U.S. to compete in the future not on the basis of commodity manufacturing but on innovation and new kinds of services that are driven by production industries.”

True as that might be, it doesn’t mean the world’s most populated country is destined to hold the crown for as long as the U.S.. China is already suffering the growing pains of higher labor costs, labor shortages and a push for better working conditions in its factories. 

There is, however, plenty of reason the U.S. should use this as a wake-up call.  America must recognize China is no longer just producing low-end cheap products, it’s now home to many high-tech components that live in Apple devices and other consumer electronics. Thanks to better technology, education and infrastructure the Chinese will continue to move up the production food chain, including highly sophisticated weaponry.

Most of it is knock-offs that cost the American economy billions.

Obama Regime tells Supreme Court to Stay out of Health Care Challenge

The Obama regime has a documented disdain for our legal system. To them there is only two branches of government. The Legislative and the Executive. The Judiciary branch is nothing more than a thorn in the side of the Obama regime’s attempt to fundamentally transform American.

Fox News reports:

The Obama administration told the Supreme Court on Monday night it should stay away from a high-profile challenge to the 2010 health care law until after a lower court has had a chance to review the case.

Since when did the President, or his Solicitor General, obtain the power to tell the Supreme Court what cases they should, or shouldn’t, take up? The U.S. Constitution established the three branches of government as a check and balance system to each other. The Supreme Court is above all other courts and can take up any case they deem important.

Acting Solicitor General Neal Katyal wrote, “there is no basis for short-circuiting the normal course of appellate review.” Katyal also says Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli’s case is problematic because he may lack sufficient standing to challenge the health care law.

The Supreme Court normally takes cases only after they’ve been reviewed at least once by appellate judges. Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli says that’s not appropriate in this instance.

In his filing last month, Cuccinelli said there’s a “palpable consensus” that the high court will ultimately have to pass judgment on the merits of President Obama’s health care law and should do so without delay. Furthermore, Cuccinelli argues that his case involves “pure issues of constitutional law” that appellate judges on the Fourth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals will be unable to definitively resolve.

Katyal says there is no question that the case is of great public importance but uses the language of the court’s own rules to say it is not “one of the rare cases that justifies deviation from normal appellate practice and require[s] immediate determination in this court.” Katyal points out that the Virginia case and several others are already in the pipeline and little time may be saved if the court were to jump in now.

This case is rare. It is the first time in our country’s 235 history that a President is forcing individuals to purchase a product. Nowhere in the U.S. Constitution is this power granted.

Politicians from both parties have also expressed support for immediate high court review. Sen. Bill Nelson, D-Fla. took to the Senate floor to champion the cause. Republican governors recently sent a letter to Obama asking him to support Virginia’s efforts, writing, “we should not endure years of litigation in the circuit courts, when the Supreme Court can promptly provide finality.”

Bipartisanship agreement to rush this to the Supreme Court. This must happen before 2014, when ObamaCare is to be fully implemented.

John Conyers admist that ObamaCare is the Platform for a Single-Payer System

Most of us knew this was the goal the entire time. It’s because we listened to what Democrats were saying…

Single payer was the goal the entire time.

CNSNews.com reports:

…Speaking with CNSNews.com after the event at the National Press Club, Conyers said,  “What we’re trying to do is insure everybody, right? We’re trying to insure more people, not less and so it’s my feeling that the rising costs that are going on will not be solved by getting rid of people’s health insurance–that throws them into emergency rooms and charity and other things. That’s why HR 676 is our ultimate solution–is that everybody’s insured from birth on and that’s what we’re still fighting for.”

CNSNews.com then asked Conyers, “Do you see a single-payer health care system ultimately in the United States?”

“Of course,” he said. “Universal health care–well, every industrial country on the planet already has a universal system of health care.”

When asked if he thinks President Obama’s health-care law will lead to a single-payer health-care system in the U.S., Conyers said: “Well it’s a platform. I don’t think they flow smoothly but without that, if we didn’t have this then health care, universal health care would be an even more difficult legislative objective,” he said.

The Socialist Progressives put forth a health care bill based on lies, fraud and manipulation. Their plan was to pass a bill that would cause medical costs and insurance premiums to rise. This has been accomplished, as Richard Foster, the Chief Actuary, has testified.

The main goal is to drive insurance companies out of business and to get Americans off of employer-paid health insurance, as Obama and other Democrats have stated. It’s all a fraud, sold by frauds who used fraud, lies and bribes to get it passed in order to ruin our health care system.

This is all being brought upon Americans by Socialist Progressive Democrats.

House GOP wants answers from HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius on ‘end of life planning’ rule

A bunch of frauds sold a fraudulent bill with fraudulent numbers. Now the GOP wants to know who slipped the ‘end of life planning’ rule in at the last second. It was the HHS Secretary herself who snuck this in.

Oh the transparency!

Investors.com reports:

IBD has received a letter from Republicans on the Energy and Commerce Committee to Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius requesting information on “the improper inclusion of a proposal to encourage end-of-life planning in a Medicare regulation in the fall of 2010.”

Late last year, a controversy erupted when in November a set of final regulations for Medicare contained a provision enabling Medicare to pay for “end-of-life” counseling. A furor ensued over the fact that (1) this raised the entire “death panel” specter again; and (2) the provision was not in the proposed regulations released in August, thereby shielding the provision from the lengthy public comment period that is supposed to follow proposed regulations.

No one was sure who was responsible for slipping the provision into the 692-page final regulation. Until eleven days ago. Here is Rep. Phil Gingrey, R-Ga., asking Sebelius about the matter:

In short, Sebelius admits that she was the one who slipped it in without allowing for public comment.

This has prompted Republicans on the Energy and Commerce Committee to send a letter Monday to Sebelius demanding more information. The letter says that the “inclusion of this regulation was clearly an attempt to subvert the democratic process.” Further, the Republicans state:

We are very disturbed by your actions. It is clear that end-of-life regulations would not make it through Congress or survive a public debate during the rulemaking process, and were thus dropped into the final rule without allowing the public any opportunity to comment. The secrecy surrounding their inclusion in the final rule indicates that this was a political maneuver designed to avoid public scrutiny and comment.

This is the brand of ‘transparency’ we’ve received from Democrats. This comes on top of Sebelius’ testimony that they used double counting to hide the true costs of ObamaCare and the discovery of the Obama regime hiding $105 billion inside the ObamaCare law.

This needs to get out to every American. Over 40% still support this recently-ruled unconstitutional health care bill because they bought into the lies of Obama, Sebelius, Pelosi, Reid and a host of other fraudster Democrats. Their actions alone are unconstitutional.
