Aww… John Edwards is so scared to be Jailbird he is suicidal

Hey John, don’t drop the soap.

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) – A newspaper claims former Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards would reportedly kill himself before he is forced to go to jail.

Edwards is under investigation for improperly using campaign funds to cover up an affair he had with a woman in which a child was conceived while he was still married to the late Elizabeth Edwards.

A grand jury has been meeting near Raleigh, and recently, a key witness in the case was re-interviewed.

According to The Daily Mail, the National Enquirer has written that Edwards told a friend, ‘I won’t go to jail. I’d kill myself first!’

The statement was reportedly made after Edwards’ legal team informed him in early March that there was a strong chance that he could be indicted.

According to the National Enquirer, Edwards has lost nearly 20 pounds in the past year and his friends believe he has been “escaping reality” with alcohol.

“I think John is suicidal,” a friend of Edwards reportedly told the Enquirer. “He knows that if he’s indicted, prosecutors will try to get him to serve jail time and make an example of him.”

The Enquirer says Edwards is also concerned about what will happen to his children if he winds up in jail.

“John isn’t hiding the fact that he’s terrified of going to prison,” a source told the Enquirer. “But he’s also extremely distraught about what will happen to his children.”

John will be surrounded by other Democrats since the prison population tends to be those who pull the Democratic lever.

Obama Administration Spares Arrested Illegal Immigrants Protesters Arrested for Breaking the Law

The word ILLEGAL means nothing to the Obama regime. They continue to ignore U.S. Immigration laws and allow criminals to continue committing crimes at the expense of the U.S. taxpayers.

In the Obama Administration’s latest move to protect illegal immigrants while an amnesty plan gets worked out, Homeland Security officials said they won’t take action against a group of outlaws arrested in Georgia last week.

The illegal immigrants participated in a disruptive Atlanta demonstration to protest a state measure that bans undocumented students from attending some public colleges. The seven self-described activists, who proudly boasted about their illegal status, were arrested by local police for blocking traffic in bustling downtownAtlantafor about an hour.

As we know, criminals continue to be criminals once inside our borders.

Local media followed up this week by inquiring about the arrested demonstrators and the Homeland Security agency responsible for removing illegal aliens, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), confirmed that it was not taking any “enforcement actions against the student demonstrators.”One ICE official pointed to Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano’s well-documented stance on not deporting illegal immigrant students.

ICE and Border Patrol unions gave a vote of no confidence to Obama’s political appointees because of their refusal to prosecute criminals.

Last summer the Obama Administration ordered authorities to stop removing illegal immigrants who are students while lawmakers craft legislation to officially shield them from expulsion. The move, which has spared an estimated 700,000 illegal aliens, came in response to nationwide rallies by defiant illegal immigrants protesting their eminent removal or that of their undocumented parents.

Impeachable offense? The President takes an oath to uphold ALL LAWS, not just the ones he agrees with. But hey, it’s only the taxpayer’s money being used to support the 700,000 + criminals.

The directive is part of Obama’s secret backdoor amnesty plan in case Congress doesn’t pass legislation to legalize the nation’s 12 million illegal immigrants. Devised by political appointees at U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the plan aims to enact “meaningful immigration reform absent legislative action.”

This includes “deferred action” delaying deportation indefinitely, granting green cards, allowing illegal immigrants to remain in the U.S. indefinitely while they seek legal status (known as “parole in place”) and expanding the definition of “extreme hardships” so any illegal alien could meet the criteria and remain in the country.

Just a part of Obama’s ‘fundamental transformation’ plan. Redistribute taxpayer’s money to pay for criminals to mooch off the system.

Obama regime downplays S&P downgrading US credit outlook

Worst President EVER! Obama’s economic policies and record-setting spending with record-setting deficits has the US in this position.

(Reuters) – The Obama administration moved swiftly on Monday to downplay ratings agency S&P’s downgrade of its U.S. credit outlook, calling the decision a political judgment that should not be taken too seriously.

This from a group who gave us the “saved or created” mythical numbers.

The timing of S&P’s announcement was unwelcome for the White House, coming just as President Barack Obama tried to regain the initiative on the deficit debate in Washington.

It was so great, VP Joe Biden fell asleep listening to Obama flap his gums.

Last week Obama laid out his plan to reduce the budget deficit by $4 trillion over 12 years, trying to give markets confidence that he was serious about tackling U.S. fiscal woes.

Even the blind, deaf and dumb know Obama isn’t serious about the deficit.

Standard & Poor’s downgraded the outlook for the United States to negative, saying it believes there is a risk U.S. policymakers would not reach agreement on how to address the country’s long-term fiscal pressures by 2013.

So much for market confidence.

White House has a ‘great relationship’ with Fox News…err Al Jazeera

The White House is anti-Fox News for not slanting their reporting to make thing rosy for Obama. However, they seem to love pro-terrorist supporting Al Jazeera. Go figure.

In the halls of American power, the Arab Spring has brought Al-Jazeera in from the cold.

Seven years after then-Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld called the broadcaster’s reporting “vicious, inaccurate and inexcusable” and President George W. Bush joked about bombing it, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton praised it as “real news” in her recent Senate testimony.

Not only that, her staffers, as well as those of the CIA and the Obama White House, were attending the Congressional Correspondents’ Dinner as Al-Jazeera’s guests.

“They are a really important media entity, and we have a really great relationship with them,” said Dana Shell Smith, the State Department’s deputy assistant secretary for international media engagement, who speaks Arabic and has frequently appeared on the channel. “This administration has empowered those of us who actually do the communicating to be in a close relationship with Al-Jazeera. They understand that the relationship can’t consist of complaining to each other about the differences we have.”

The differences also have shrunk as the big story in the Middle East has shifted from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan to the democratic movements sweeping the region. In the recent uprisings, U.S. interests tended to line up with Al-Jazeera’s, and President Barack Obama alluded to both the network’s influence and its pro-democracy bent in remarks caught on an open mic during a closed-door fundraiser last week.

Reaching out to appease the Muslim world. Typical Obama administration move. Does anyone else find it odd that the Obama regime complains about Fox while befriending a known pro-terrorist outfit such as Al-Jazeera?

Bad News for Socialist Obama: 100 Percent Tax on Those Earning $500K or More Leaves U.S. With $839B Deficit

100 percent confiscation of the wealthiest American’s money still won’t get rid of Obama’s historic spending spree. Socialist always fail.

(CNSNews.com) - When he presented his plan for dealing with the national debt last week, President Barack Obama suggested a number of ways he would like to increase taxes on people he referred to as “millionaires and billionaires.”

However, recently released statistics from the Internal Revenue Service indicate that taxing away 100 percent of the income of every American who earned $500,000 or more in 2009 would still have left the United States with a massive annual deficit.

In fact, in tax year 2009 (the last year for which IRS has published statistics), the combined gross income of all Americans earning $500,000 per year or more was about $1.03 trillion ($1,029,256,075,000.00) of which these Americans paid $256.7 billion ($256,699,499,000.00) in federal income taxes.

That pretty much defeats Obama’s claims.

That left this group of Americans about $773 billion ($772,556,576,000.00) in income that the federal government had not taken away in income taxes.

Also during tax year 2009, according to the Bureau of the Public Debt, the national debt increased by $1.61 trillion ($1,611,544,812,899.90).

If the federal government had increased the income-tax rate on Americans earning more than $500,000 to 100 percent in 2009–and seized the remaining $773 billion in income it had not initially taken away from these Americans–that would have closed the federal deficit for the year to $839 billion ($838,988,236,899.90).

After taxing away 100 percent of the income of those earning $500,000 or more in 2009, the Obama administration would still have needed to increase taxes on Americans earning less than $500,000 by a total of $839 billion–just to balance federal accounts for the year.

Again, America doesn’t have a revenue problem. We have a Congress, and President, who have a spending problem. When you spend more than you take in, you produce record-setting deficits.

Time to start a “Watch Al’s Racism” watchdog group.

Classic race-hustling/victim vending 1o1 from the biggest race pimp in America. Imagine if a Tea Party leader said the things that were said at Al’s Race Fest. Calling for Blacks to be only educated by Blacks. Well, Al is a Democrat and we know Democrats love that segregation. It’s in their history.

Calling for shutdowns of construction sites that have no Blacks. Why should a construction site hire someone based strictly on race? Skills and qualification are more important.

Media conspiracy that is causing Obama’s poll numbers to drop. I guess Obama’s failed policies and ideologies have nothing to do with the lower poll numbers. The media is Obama’s lap dog and just like Al, they scream racism to defend Obama’s failures.

The use of the word racism has no real effect any more thanks to Al and his ilk. Race is now being used as an excuse to cover failure and in particular Obama’s failures.

Remember, racism is a business for Al. He keeps labeling this and that as racism where no racism exists. He has to keep racism alive or he’ll be forced to get a real job and pay real taxes. Al hates to pay taxes but loves being a race-pimp.

With President Obama’s deficit-reduction plan now on the table, the political left, right and center are ready to rumble over how to assure long-term fiscal stability. The big questions are where to slash and by how much, but over the next year or two, the most important question for the economy might well be how quickly the cutting should begin. Households have become unusually dependent on the government for income support and removing that prop too fast could put the recovery at risk.

For the first time since the Great Depression, households are receiving more income from the government than they are paying the government in taxes. The combination of more cash from various programs, called transfer payments, and lower taxes has been a double-barreled boost to consumers’ buying power, while also blowing a hole in the deficit. The 1930s offer a cautionary tale: The only other time government income support exceeded taxes paid was from 1931 to 1936. That trend reversed in 1936, after a recovery was underway, and the economy fell back into a second leg of recession during 1937 and 1938.
