Don’t laugh at Barack. The White House went and changed the word “laughter” in a release transcript to “applause.” As we now, Bam is thin skinned and not good with numbers.

Politico reports:

The Drudge Report Tuesday morning cheekily linked to an official White House transcript of President Obama’s remarks from a fundraiser the night before, which noted the audience laughing at his jobs claims.

“Over the last 15 months we’ve created over 2.1 million private sector jobs. (Laughter.)” said Obama per the transcript, emailed to reporters Monday night at around 11:30 p.m.

It did seem a little strange — because why would Obama supporters laugh at job creation? But the matter prompted some informal wagering within the press corps on the over-under for how long it would take the White House to put an end to the laughter — especially after the link appeared at the top of the heavily trafficked Drudge site.

Why would they laugh? Because we have lost 2.5 million jobs since Obama passed his failed $830 Billion stimulus. Not to mention that unemployment went from 7.6% to 10.2% and has stayed above 9% for 22 out of 24 months.

At 4:04 p.m. on Tuesday, the corrected transcript appeared: Laughter changed to applause, and noted with an asterisk. The White House declined comment on the record.

Simply pathetic!!!

Another 'peaceful' Muslim wanting to kill in the name of his religion

Hey Democrats. This is the reason we need to investigate and profile those who follow that ever-so peaceful religion called Islam. Sheila Jackson-Lee (D-TX)unavailable for comment.

From Fox News:

The case had apparently gone cold. But after several months of no progress, federal authorities have now zeroed in on a suspect in last year’s shootings at several military sites around the nation’s capital. Their suspect: the 22-year-old Marine reservist arrested Friday after causing a terror scare near the Pentagon.

Ballistics obtained at the suspect’s home have been linked to evidence found at the scenes of the 2010 shootings, including the Marine Corps Museum in Triangle, Va., a vacant Marine recruiting station in Chantilly, Va., and the Pentagon itself, Fox News has learned.

Authorities are now trying to track down a vehicle once owned by the suspect, Yonathan Melaku of Alexandria, Va., who has since sold the vehicle.

Melaku was arrested early Friday morning at Arlington National Cemetery when the site was closed. He was carrying a backpack with what authorities initially thought might be explosives, and they found a notebook containing words and phrases such as “Taliban,” “Al Qaeda,” “defeated coalition forces,” and “mujahedeen.” The discoveries caused “concerns about the public’s safety,” the FBI said at the time, and shut down major highways for much of Friday.

Google is one of the most dangerous and corrupt corporations in America. They have teamed up with the NSA and President Obama to spy on Americans to steal their passwords, private e-mails and IP addresses.

Eric Schmidt, CEO of Google, sits on Obama’s technology council and donated greatly to Obama’s 2008 campaign. Andrew McLaughlin, Obama’s ex-technology chief, was a Google executive who bolted only two days after the FCC passed net-neutrality laws to start-up two technology businesses.

Google and Team Obama is bad for Americas who want privacy.

Bloomberg.com reports:

Google Inc. (GOOG)’s reluctance to provide a top executive for testimony to a Senate panel probing its market power has prompted threats of subpoenas for Chief Executive Officer Larry Page and Chairman Eric Schmidt.

In a letter dated June 10, the Democratic chairman and leading Republican on the antitrust subcommittee asked Google to provide one of the company’s two senior executives before Congress’s August recess. The letter urged a resolution “by agreement” to avoid “more formal procedures,” according to a copy of the letter obtained by Bloomberg News.

The threat of subpoenas is one of the ways the committee is pressuring Mountain View, California-based Google to send Page or Schmidt, according to two people familiar with negotiations between the panel and the company. The possibility of subpoenas was discussed with Google in connection with the letter, the people said. The letter asked Google to respond by June 15.

Subpoenas would require approval by the full Senate Judiciary Committee.

Google has offered to have Chief Legal Officer David Drummond appear at the hearing, according to the letter.

The subcommittee would “strongly prefer” Page or Schmidt at the proceeding, “which will address fundamental questions of business operations rather than merely legal issues,” U.S. senators Herb Kohl and Mike Lee wrote. Kohl, a Wisconsin Democrat, is chairman of the Senate Subcommittee on Antitrust, Competition Policy, and Consumer Rights, and Lee, of Utah, is the panel’s ranking Republican.

Drain the swamp. I wrote about this alledged sexual harassment a few months back. Now it looks like the Office of Congressional Ethics is moving forward with the investigation.

WASHINGTONA congressional ethics panel is investigating allegations that Florida Democratic Rep. Alcee Hastings sexually harassed a member of his staff, according to people familiar with the matter.

Another Congressional Black Caucus member being investigated and a typical Democrat thinking with his dick. Twitter isn’t involved this time.

The investigation of Mr. Hastings is being conducted by the Office of Congressional Ethics, the House’s independent ethics investigative arm, and it is at a preliminary stage.

It began at least a month ago after Judicial Watch, a conservative group, filed a lawsuit as the legal counsel for Winsome Packer, a staffer on a commission Mr. Hastings headed. She alleged that she had been sexually harassed by the congressman and that he retaliated when she tried to report it.

At the time, Mr. Hastings was chairman of the U.S. Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe, a group set up in the 1970s to monitor a Cold-War era pact. Ms. Packer, a Republican, also worked for the commission.

Tom Fitton, the president of Judicial Watch, said his organization has been contacted by House investigators. “We can confirm that Ms. Packer is cooperating with the Office of Congressional Ethics,” he said.

30% of America is still drinking that poisonous progressive Kool-Aid.

From Bloomberg.com:

Americans are growing more dissatisfied with President Barack Obama’s handling of the economy and say it will be hard to vote to re-elect him without seeing significant progress over the next year and a half.

By a margin of 61 percent to 37 percent, a Bloomberg National Poll conducted June 17-20 shows Americans say they believe that Obama will have had his chance to make the economy “substantially better” by the end of 2012.

Only 30 percent of respondents said they are certain to vote for the president and 36 percent said they definitely won’t. Among likely independent voters, only 23 percent said they will back his re-election, while 36 percent said they definitely will look for another candidate.

“As far as the economy goes, I don’t see that he has delivered on the change that he promised,” said Sharon Ortiz, a 38-year-old independent voter from Hampton, Virginia, who supported Obama in 2008. “The jobs that he promised — I haven’t seen it.”

Remember that $830 Billion stimulus that those on the left promise would keep unemployment below 8% and jump-start the economy? It did the opposite and almost doubled U.S. debt.

From The Washington Examiner:

A new report from the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) finds that President Obama’s economic stimulus program helped nearly double U.S. debt.

The 2011 Long-Term Budget Outlook, released Wednesday morning, reports that the “the combination of automatic budgetary responses” and Obama’s stimulus “had a profound impact on the federal budget.” According to CBO projections, before Obama’s stimulus became law, federal debt equaled 36 percent of GDP and was projected to decline slightly over the next few years. Instead, thanks in large part to the stimulus, debt reached 62 percent of GDP by 2010.

Obamanomics is a complete failure much like anything his group of “great economic thinkers” put forth.
