Hmmm, the Federal Government using the military to carry out a law enforcement operation involving a gun store. It’s getting scary folks.
Todd Jacobs reports, via YahooNews:
The United States Air Force Office of Special Investigations, aided by Metro’s SWAT unit and the FBI, raided a local gun store Friday, but Nellis Air Force Base has not released any information. TheLas Vegas Review Journal reported the raid on the Citadel Gun & Safe Store at 4305 S. Dean Martin Drive, near the Flamingo Road overpass, involved a search warrant and included vacant buildings in the rear parking lot.
The base information officer, Master Sgt. Andrew Lynch, only told the LVRJ that the raid was part of an ongoing investigation, then referred all questions to the FBI headquarters in Quantico, Va. The rare move of the Air Force being involved in a civilian raid caused speculation among neighbors of the gun store.
The question following the raid involving the Air Force, is if this has ever happened in Las Vegas or anywhere in the country before? The Nellis information office played the raid off as a common occurrence but the referral to the FBI headquarters lends credence to a federal investigation rather than a local matter.
The incident has brought about references to the Posse ComitatusAct of 1878. The law as written states in part, “It shall not be lawful to employ any part of the Army of the United States, as a posse comitatus, or otherwise, for the purpose of executing the laws, except in such cases and under such circumstances as such employment of said force may be expressly authorized by the Constitution or by act of Congress.”
It is not unprecedented for the federal government to use the military in an action against a United States citizens but it is unusual in these circumstances. One example of military force being used against United States citizens was the raid on the Davidian Compound and religious fanatic, David Koresh.
We know how that turned out.
Section 1385 makes specific reference to the use of Army and Air Force as posse comitatus. The section states, “Whoever, except in cases and under circumstances expressly authorized by the Constitution or Act of Congress, willfully uses any part of the Army or the Air Force as a posse comitatus or otherwise to execute the laws shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than two years, or both. ‘
The Obama regime has disdain for the US Constitution and Congress. They believe they’re above the law.
There is an exception to this section of the law. If this case involved nuclear materials or weaponry, then the Air Force can assist with a search warrant. Until the Air Force or the FBI reveals what they were looking for, we will not know if this is the case. It is doubtful it will ever be revealed what they were looking for in the Citadel Gun & Safe Store.
GET READY! he and his regime are coming for the AMERICANS, what did the FBI guy hear them say 50 million people now days would have to go? yes! beck,
that’s what these flash mobs are for, from bo to get things going.
coky
There are too many good people in this country who still believe that when the fecal matter hits the oscillator that the military is going to be on their side and not on the side of the regime. WRONG GUESS, FOLKS!
Same applies to the police. Neither will stand up and defend the people vs the government, so you’d better be well prepared and you’d better be smart, otherwise you may be caught up short when the military and/or the police kick in your front door without warning, looking for whatever they think you shouldn’t have – take your pick – guns, ammo, gold, silver, money, food.
