President Obama spoke Thursday night at a campaign fundraiser at ABC Kitchen in New York City. It was the first of four fundraisers the president attended Thursday.
OBAMA: Around the world, Gandhi, Nelson Mandela–what they did was hard. It takes time. It takes more than a single term. It takes more than a single president. It takes more than a single individual. What it takes is ordinary citizens who are committed to fighting and pushing and inching this country closer and closer to our highest ideals. I said in 2008, that I am not a perfect man and I will not be a perfect president. But I promise you, I promised you that I would always tell you what I believe. I would always tell you where I stood.
Bullshit. The man has flip-flopped on many issues. Obama took one position as Senator and an entire different position as President (Patriot Act, Indefinite Detention, Gitmo, Signing Statements…just to name a few).
Now, if he’d said Adolph Hitler and Jimmy Carter, that would be more believable. Why does he always compare himself with someone, Lincoln, Reagan….? “I said in 2008, that I am not a perfect man” – Really? I recall him saying he was The One who was going to “heal the planet and stop the oceans from rising”? His lapdogs in the media went so far as to say he was above the office of the presidency, a god. They got tingles up their legs. I think this time around, he will be vetted. I am already seeing articles of his past on several sites. Hopefully, they will be aired on TV also. Scotty, I am new to this site and just want to thank you. BTW, I was referred to your site from a link posted on The Ulsterman Report, another good site. Keep up the good work. We have a lot of work to do.
Thanks Lois. I’m anxiously awaiting the Breitbart tapes showing Obama during his college days. Rumor has it these tapes show Obama with unrepentant terrorist Bill Ayers and his wife, which would prove Obama to be the well-documented liar we all know him to be.
I, too, am anxiously awaiting the release of the Breitbart tapes. I certainly hope Fox doesn’t back out of releasing them on Hannity’s show. Also, am most curious as to who gave Breitbart the tapes, who sat on them for these last 4 years. Find it curious that AB and TC went to Bill Ayers’ home for that dinner. Trying to figure if it was Bill Ayers himself who gave him the tapes and why would he do that? Trying to put together the pieces of this puzzle.
Can’t wait. Never know with Bill Ayers. I read an article recently that talked about Obama attending a play dedicated to Saul Alinsky and partaking in a discussion afterwards. The director has the video but won’t release it
