Anyone who has written about Obama and his regime know, very well, about how articles and videos showing the truth seem to disappear.

From Washington Times:

Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano is not a fan of a big part of the 287(g) program, which allows state and local police to enforce federal immigration laws — but until Thursday her department’s website didn’t get that message.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the part of her agency that handles the 287(g) agreements with states and localities, had a Web page dedicated to success stories from the program, pointing to many of the dangerous criminal aliens who had been taken off the streets after local authorities nabbed them for another offense.

But after Rep. Bob Goodlatte, Virginia Republican, pointed out the contradiction during a House Judiciary Committee hearing Thursday, Ms. Napolitano wasted little time in removing it.

“I would tell the people who are working on the website, take it down,” she said during the hearing. And even before the hearing gaveled to a close, the page was gone.

The 287(g) program has two parts: task-force agreements, which empower state and local police to process suspects for immigration violations, and the jail model, which only gets local authorities involved after someone has been booked into a jail or prison.

The 287(g) program is the program Obama blocked Arizona and Virginia from using after the Supreme Court ruled law enforcement officers can check the immigration status of criminals.

The system is working

When an incompetent President appoints an incompetent to run Homeland Security it begets incompetence.

(CNSNews.com) - Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said that President Obama was “as a general matter correct,” when he said on March 28, 2011 that his administration cannot suspend deportation of illegal aliens without approval from Congress.

She also did not know how many illegal aliens benefiting from the “deferred action” on deportation would be eligible for work permits at a time when Americans are facing an 8.2 percent unemployment rate. Napolitano testified Thursday to the House Judiciary Committee.

It was her first testimony since announcing the “deferred action” policy to allow illegal aliens under the age of 30 who have not committed an offense other than being in the country illegal to avoid deportation. The new rule was seen as an end-run around Congress after it did not pass the administration-backed DREAM Act to allow legal status to be awarded to illegal aliens who attend college or join the military.

During one exchange, Rep. Elton Gallegly (R-Calif.) asked how many illegal aliens under this exemption policy would be eligible for work permits at a time when the United States is facing 8.2 percent unemployment.

“This was an issue that I thought about deeply before I wrote my memorandum because jobs for Americans are very important,” Napolitano answered. “My conclusion was, and we probably differ on this, but my conclusion was that there are lots of different ways to stimulate job creation. Some of them are before Congress now. But we shouldn’t balance the American economy on the backs of children who were brought here mostly through no fault of their own.”

Gallegly followed, “Do you have just an approximate number” of illegal aliens who will be eligible for a work permit? Napolitano answered, “There is no real estimate.”

Gallegly asked, “Could it be one million?”

“We don’t know,” Napolitano answered.

Jay Carney attempted to spin the truth when he boldly claimed the reason Obama hasn’t met with the job council he put together was due to Obama “having a full plate.” Obama has been anything but busy with all his golf outings and attending a record breaking number of campaign fundraisers.

Some are questioning why a President who claimed that “keeping the economy growing and making sure jobs are available is the first thing I think about when I wake up every morning…It’s the last thing I think about when I go to bed each night” hasn’t had a discussion about the economy or jobs with the guys he selected to lead his job council. Why has Obama’s laser-like focus on job creation dimmed?

Obama doesn’t agree with the job creators on his job council. Why? Because his job council has recommended job creation policies backed by Republicans. Obama cheered his job council’s proposals, then did nothing with it. This is the same tactic Obama used with his Bowles-Simpson deficit commission. They recommended policies backed by Republicans, so Obama ignored his deficit commission too.

Obama claimed he isn’t an ideologue, but his actions with his own self-created councils and commissions prove he is a radical left-wing ideologue with no real plans to turn the economy around and create jobs. He’s such an ideologue that he refuses to listen to those who think differently than he does. Obama has zero business experience, zero job creation experience, yet ignores those who do. He’s such an ideologue he hasn’t discussed job creation for over six months with his guys who have real world experience in creating jobs.

The economy is stagnant and signs are pointing towards it getting worse. Unemployment has remained above 8% for 41 straight months and the Federal Reserve just estimated that unemployment will remain above 7% until 2014. Jobless claims continue to be revised upwards. Home sales are down on top of the record number of foreclosures that disproportionately affect Blacks and Hispanics. Manufacturing continues to slow down and retail sales have dropped to 2008 recession levels.

Long-term unemployment is at Depression-era levels. The labor force participation rate is the lowest in 30 years and unemployment is only dropping due to the mass exodus from Americans giving up on looking for unemployment, not due to jobs created. Black unemployment is up. Hispanic unemployment is up. Poverty is at record levels for all Americans. Food stamp usage is at record highs.

All this is happening under Obama while he claims the private sector is doing fine.

Next question? Is that all this dim bulb has got. Democrats refuse to face reality when questioned.

100 plus rounds of golf. Breaking presidential campaign fundraising records. Not meeting with his job council in over six months. Man, Obama’s laser-like focus on jobs and the economy doesn’t seem so focused. So much for not resting until every American wanting a job has one.

From Breitbart.com

An eye-opening new report by the Government Accountability Institute reveals that President Barack Obama averages just eight minutes more a week on economic meetings than the average dog owner spends walking their dog.

When it was recently reported that Mr. Obama had played his 100th round of golf, the president said that playing golf was “the only time that for six hours, I’m outside.”  Therefore, by his own estimate, the president has spent 600 hours playing golf, as compared to just 412 hours in economic meetings of any kind throughout his presidency….

But just how little time Mr. Obama has spent working on the economy can be seen in the data contained in the Government Accountability Institute’s analysis:

  • Throughout the first 1,257 days of his presidency, Mr. Obama has spent just 412 hours in economic meetings or briefings of any kind
  • In 2012, so far Obama has spent just 24 total hours in economic meetings of any kind
  • Assuming a six day, 10-hour workweek, Obama has spent less than 4 percent of his total time in economic meetings or briefings of any kind
  • There were 773 days (72 percent), excluding Sundays, in which he had no economic meetings
  • Mr. Obama has spent an average of 138 minutes a week in economic meetings.  According to a study published in the International Journal of Behavioral Nutrition and Physical Activity, new dog owners spent an average of 130 minutes a week walking their dogs

All Obama sees is dollar signs.

The hypocrite-in-chief continues to slam Romney for allegedly outsourcing jobs while at Bain Capital, even though Obama has been proven a liar by fact-checkers. Obama gives campaign speeches slamming Romney then slinks away to fundraisers to beg for cash from donors who are ruthless outsourcers.

After giving a speech in Austin, Texas in which he decried Mitt Romney for overseeing companies that outsourced jobs, President Obama attended a fundraiser hosted by Tom Meredith, a former Dell executive who once oversaw outsourcing at his own company — and said he would be “ruthless” about cutting costs.

In 2001, while serving as senior vice president of Dell Computer Corp, Meredith defended plans to lay off between 3,000 and 4,000 employees — largely in Texas — while sparing about 4,000 jobs in Asia Pacific. When that strategy was reported by the tech press at the time Meredith defended the move.

“We will be ruthless in how we address our cost structure,” Meredith said, a comment that drew wide attention at the time.

Obama continues his outsourcing rant against Romney, yet fails to remember he is an outsourcer. His economic policies have caused many US companies to flee to other countries. Then we have the fact that his jobs council is loaded with campaign donor with a long list of outsourcing American jobs for profit and not paying any taxes..cough…GE.

It seems Obama loses all his pretend outrage when outsourcers stick money in his pockets.

The nightmare scenario wouuld be Americans learning exactly how much money The Fed has printed and given to banks and other countries, while devaluing our dollar with two rounds of quantitative easing.

From The Hill:

Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke warned Wednesday that an audit bill pushed by Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) could create a “nightmare scenario” for the central bank.

Testifying before the House Financial Services Committee, Bernanke pushed back against efforts to subject the Fed to full audits by the Government Accountability Office (GAO), cautioning that doing so would subject the politically independent institution to the whims of lawmakers and render the Fed ineffective.

“The nightmare scenario that I have is one in which some future Fed chairman would decide to say, raise the federal funds rate by 25 basis points, and somebody in this room would say, ‘I don’t like this decision and I want the [Government Accountability Office] to go in … and give us an independent opinion of whether or not that would be the right decision,” he said.

Establishing a system in which the Fed’s monetary policy moves could be immediately called into question by lawmakers would have a “chilling effect” on the institution and generally reduce its ability to help steer the economy, he warned.

Yeah, don’t question the Fed that would be a crazy idea. Remember folks this coming from a guy who lied to Congress when he promise not to monetize the debt. The Federal Reserve has bought more US debt than China by printing money to cover Obama’s spending.

Ouch.

Jon Lovitz is a liberal comic who is sick of Obama’s tax the rich, class warfare scheme. Lotitz is jumping on the bandwagon and slamming Obama for his “If you’ve got a business — you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen” comment. The pic above is from Lovitz.
