Here’s Obama in 2010 talking about Paul Ryan’s plan to save Medicare.

Flash forward to 2012:

Obama’s reelection plan: Distort, distract and divide and of course lie about Romney and Ryan.

Let me be clear…I’m a pathological liar and will lie, cheat and steal to win. The truth never passes across my lips

Obama is a pathological liar. He is now out attacking Paul Ryan and lying about things people can easily research themselves. Obama claimed Ryan was standing in the way of passing a farm bill to help struggling farmers suffering through droughts. Only one problem. Ryan and the Republican-controlled House passed a farm bill two weeks ago.

From The Hill:

President Obama on Monday ripped Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan for standing in the way of the farm bill.

Obama chose Iowa, where the farm bill is a priority, to make his pitch just days after Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney energized his party by picking Ryan as his running mate.

“Too many members of Congress are blocking the farm bill from becoming law,” Obama said at a campaign event in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

“Gov. Romney’s new running mate … he is one of the leaders of Congress standing in the way. If you see him, tell him how important it is … tell him to put politics aside when it comes to doing the right thing for rural America and for Iowa.”

A documented Obama lie, yet the Obama-worshiping media stays silent as bloggers report the facts.

From NYTimes:

An effort to provide emergency aid for American ranchers and farmers reeling from a year of drought, frost and other calamities collapsed on Thursday as members of Congress departed for their five-week August recess, leaving behind a pile of unfinished legislation as they go home to campaign for re-election.

After refusing to consider a sweeping five-year farm measure, House Republican leaders jammed through a short-term $383 million package of loans and grants for livestock producers and a limited number of farmers. The measure passed 223 to 197, a narrow margin for a bill that has an impact on so many states. But Democrats balked in protest over the way the farm legislation has been handled and some Republicans objected to the costs.

Democratic leaders in the Senate, which had already passed a bipartisan five-year bill, refused to take up the House measure, faulting House Republican leaders for failing to consider the broader legislation in time.

“I’m not passing a bill that only covers some producers,” said Senator Debbie Stabenow, Democrat of Michigan, the chairwoman of the Senate Agriculture Committee.

Moments after the House passed its bill, Ms. Stabenow took to the Senate floor to say that lawmakers would instead work informally over the August recess to try to put together a new measure to present to Congress when it meets in September. The White House would have considered the House measure, but she resisted, Senate aides said.

The Democrat’s bill wanted more funding for food stamps and wasn’t a “farm” bill. So as one sees, Obama is a pathological liar. Ryan voted for the farm bill that Democrats killed.

Successful, white investors/businessmen are bad for the left.

More attack on success? We have witnessed what Obama and his party think of successful people. So you can be sure the liberal media is going to do the same to Paul Ryan. Success to Democrats means less dependent voters.

From CNN:

Newly chosen vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan is already well-known for trying to push the U.S. government to cut its way to prosperity. Perhaps he should share some of his stock picks with Uncle Sam in order to boost revenue as well.

Ryan appears to be a savvy investor. The majority of the mostly large-cap stocks he owned in 2011 are on a tear in 2012. According to Ryan’s 2011 financial disclosure statementsreleased by The Center for Responsive Politics, he owns a diversified group of large cap stocks that are solidly beating the market.

In the mix: Tech leaders Amazon (AMZN), Apple (AAPL), Priceline (PCLN) and Citrix (CTXS) are all up at least 20% this year. Home Depot (HD) is up 27%, making it one of the Dow’s top performers in 2012. Ryan also owns banking giant Wells Fargo (WFC), which is up 23% this year. (He sold part of Bank of America (BAC) in 2011 and owns Goldman Sachs (GS) too.) General Electric (GE), up 17%, is another Ryan holding.

Ryan also not only owns a wide range of stocks, but also has stakes in a variety of bond and mutual funds from Fidelity, Edward Jones, Hartford and Janus. If the vice presidential thing doesn’t work out, maybe Ryan can think about a career in the institutional investment world?

Of course, it’s been a good year for the stock market. All three major indexes are up more than 8%. But most of Ryan’s stock holdings are up more than the broader market. In addition, he only has a few notable losers. Pharmaceutical company Bristol Myers Squibb (BMY) is down 10% and logistics firm CH Robinson Worldwide (CHRW) has fallen 33%.

Ryan’s financial disclosure statements don’t reveal how many shares he holds of each stock or the breakdown between stocks and bonds and other investments. So it’s impossible to estimate just how much his individual stakes are worth currently. But his net worth in 2010 ranged from nearly $1 million to $3 million, according to the most recent estimates from The Center for Responsive Politics.

Ryan knows the numbers and doesn’t need a teleprompter to state the facts. Ryan exposed Obama, and ObamaCare, as the frauds they are. Hiding spending does not reduce spending, as Ryan points out and we all know the fraud, lies and bribes that Obama used to get his health care bill passed…unread…by Democrats.

Even Kathleen Sebelius agrees with Ryan on the double-counting scheme.

It’s the Chicago-way, baby!

All those gang killings make the US great? I didn’t know that.

From the Weekly Standard:

In campaign remarks yesterday at the Bridgeport Art Center in Chicago, Illinois, President Barack Obama praised his adopted city, where he lived before becoming president of the United States. “Chicago is an example of what makes this country great,” Obama said. His audience applauded.

President Obama’s proof for his assertion? The donors in the room, who had given to his reelection campaign. “Witness this room,” Obama said. And he elaborated: “[W]e’ve got everything we need to make things work here in America. We still have the best workers in the world. (Applause.) We’ve still got the best entrepreneurs in the world. We’ve got the best colleges, the best universities, the best scientists, the best researchers. We’re a young nation, and we’ve got the greatest diversity of talent and ingenuity from every corner of the globe.”

But what President Obama did not address is Chicago’s homicide rate, one of the highest in the nation.

[M]ore Chicago residents — 228 — have been killed so far this year in the city than the number of U.S. troops killed in Afghanistan – 144 — over the same period,” the Huffington Post noted in June.

“The war zone-like statistics are not new. As WBEZ reports, while some 2,000 U.S. troops have been killed in Afghanistan since 2001, more than 5,000 people have been killed by gun fire in Chicago during that time, based on Department of Defense and FBI data. Chicago’s murder rate is also currently quadruple that of New York and double Los Angeles’ rate.”

As history has shown, Chicago begets crooks.

Lefties still befuddled as to why Republican/Conservatives call him a socialist.

Like Bill Clinton, Erskine Bowles is a fan of Paul Ryan’s budget and Medicare reform. This is damaging to Obama since Bowles was appointed to lead Obama’s deficit commission. Bowles even slams Obama’s budget, that received zero votes from his own party, as he praises Ryan.

Please take note that Bowles points out how Obama “backloaded” his budget numbers to claim $4 trillion in reductions over 12 years. Love when a liberal points out a liberal lie by a far-left wing liberal socialist like Obama.

Domestic Islamic Terrorist

The Obama administration labeled this terrorist act “workplace violence” despite this Muslim terrorist shouting Allahu Akbar before opening fire on US troops at Fort Hood.

FORT HOOD — A string of witnesses in an evidentiary hearing identified Army Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan as the triggerman at a Fort Hood deployment center that left 45 dead and injured.

As his trial nears almost three years later, few here argue over his guilt. They wonder why a psychiatrist would gun down fellow soldiers.

Rep. John Carter, R-Round Rock can explain it. He calls Hasan a domestic terrorist, something prosecutors have never claimed, and says those avoiding the term are indulging in political correctness.

“Believe me, my friend, if somebody had jumped up and said, ‘Praise God and Jesus Christ!’ and started shooting,” he said, “the headline would have said, ‘Christian right-wing zealot kills soldiers.’”

Prosecutors last week inched closer to branding Hasan a terrorist. They sought to put terrorism consultant Evan Kohlmann on a list of witnesses when Hasan’s capital murder trial starts next Monday.

Testifying Thursday via phone, Kohlmann said Hasan is like the other home-grown terrorists he has studied. The judge in the case, Col. Gregory Gross, hasn’t decided if Kohlmann will testify, but putting him on the stand raises the stakes for Hasan.

Prosecutors didn’t respond when asked why they wanted to bring Kohlmann into the trial, or if he’s to be used to help prove the attack was a terrorist act. However, retired Army Lt. Col. Geoffrey Corn said they could call him as a rebuttal witness during the trial’s sentencing phase if Hasan testifies or gives a statement.

Corn, a professor at South Texas College of Law in Houston who closely follows the case, also said it was telling the Army didn’t create a charge based on a belief that the shooting was a terrorist act — as it could have done.

“It’s an interesting policy debate, public debate, maybe political debate but from a legal perspective, predominantly a distraction,” he said. “A prosecutor’s job is to make things as clear and as simple as possible.”

Still, Carter and others, some of them Fort Hood troops, point to the start of the melee as proof that Hasan declared jihad when he opened fire on a crowded post deployment center on Nov. 5, 2009.

Witnesses say Hasan jumped on a desk and cried out, “Allahu Akbar!,” Arabic for God is great. They said he mowed down GIs with two handguns and extended-round clips.
