The liberal media should be ashamed that a foreign television outlet actually conducted investigative journalism to expose Team Obama’s gun trafficking scheme. Team Obama thought the Fast & Furious scandal was over with after the DOJ Inspector General’s report. This Univision bombshell may have Team Obama is sphincter muscle in knots.

From ABCNews:

Who are the human faces of the U.S. government’s botched “Fast and Furious” gun-walking operation?

Often lost amid the rancor in Washington are the stories of dozens of people killed by guns that flowed south as part of the undercover operation, and later slipped out of view from U.S. officials. Univision’s Investigative Unit (Univision Investiga) has identified massacres committed using guns from the ATF operation, including the killing of 16 young people attending a party in a residential area of Ciudad Juárez in January of 2010.

The guns just didn’t reach Mexico…

Additional guns, previously unreported by congressional investigators, found their way into the hands of drug traffickers across Latin America in countries such as, Honduras and Colombia, as well as the U.S. Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. A person familiar with the recent congressional hearings called Univision’s findings “the holy grail” that Congress had been searching for.

Get the full story on “Fast and Furious” on a special edition of Univision’s “Aquí y Ahora” (Here and Now) this Sunday, September 30, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. ET/PT (6 p.m. Central), which will be aired with closed captioning in English.

Got to remember what the DOJ Inspector General testified to. The White House wouldn’t allow Kevin O’Reilly to speak to the IG and made sure O’Reilly would stay out of sight by sending him to Iraq.

Tell us something not so obvious. Liberal women are ugly inside and out.

From HuffPo:

Republican congresswomen appear more “feminine” than their Democrat counterparts, according to a new study by UCLA psychology researchers.

“Female politicians with stereotypically feminine facial features are more likely to be Republican than Democrat, and the correlation increases the more conservative the lawmaker’s voting record,” said study author Colleen M. Carpinella, a UCLA graduate student in psychology, in an article posted to the UCLA Newsroom website.

So what makes a woman “stereotypically feminine?”

Certainly, individuals are easily biased by outside factors not related to facial characteristics, including hair style, application of cosmetics, jewelry or clothing style, said Kerri Johnson, the study’s senior author and an assistant professor of communication studies and psychology at UCLA. For this reason, the researchers used a computer program that was “immune to those influences.”

The program, called FaceGen, allows the researchers to measure more than 100 subtle dimensions including the shape of the jaw, the location of eyebrows, the placement of cheek bones, the shape of eyes and the contour of the forehead, to create a score ranging from -40 (highly male-typed) to +40 (highly female-typed).

For the study, the researchers had FaceGen analyze the portraits of members of the111th House of Representatives, measuring how closely the facial features of each face approached the average for their gender.

Selling the same recycle bullshit from 2009

More proof Obama is clueless and insane. He is trying to regurgitate old failed policies and recycle them as new ones right before the election, hoping for a different result.

From WhiteHouse.gov:

Hello, everybody.  Four years ago this month, a crisis that started out on Wall Street almost brought down our entire economy.  The nation’s biggest banks were days away from failing.  The stock market – and millions of American retirement accounts – were in free-fall.  Credit froze.  Lending stopped.  And businesses large and small didn’t even know if they’d be able to make payroll.  It was a moment the likes of which few Americans had ever seen.

Today, we know the biggest cause of that crisis was reckless behavior in the housing market.

Which Obama was a part of. As a lawyer, Obama sued big banks in order to force them to give subprime loans to unqualified borrowers. This is the scheme that Democrats loved and were part of the reason for the financial & housing crisis.

Millions of Americans who did the right and responsible thing – who shopped for a home, secured a mortgage they could afford, and made their payments on time – were badly hurt by the irresponsible actions of others.  By lenders who sold loans to families who couldn’t afford them – and buyers who knew they couldn’t afford them.  By speculators who were looking to make a quick buck.  And by banks that packaged and sold those risky mortgages for phony profits.

When the party stopped, and the housing bubble burst, it pushed our entire economy into a historic recession – and left middle-class families holding the bag.

Four years later, the housing market is healing.  Home sales and construction are up.  Prices are beginning to rise.  And more than a million families who began this year owing more on their mortgages than their homes are worth, are now back above water.

Record foreclosure in 2010 & 2011 is “healing” in Obama’s world. They’re back above water due to the lowest interest rates in history, not because of Obama’s policies.

We’re moving in the right direction.  But we’re not there yet.  There are still millions of Americans who are struggling with their mortgages, even at a time of historically low rates.

Now, I know there are some who think that the only option for homeowners is to just stand by and hope that the market has hit bottom.  I don’t agree with that.

It’s hard to go below the record number of foreclosures that have happened under his presidency. Up is the only option.

That’s why my Administration teamed up with state attorneys general to investigate the terrible way many homeowners were treated, and secured a settlement from the nation’s biggest banks – banks that were bailed out with taxpayer dollars – to help families stay in their homes.

Yet, no charges have been filed against any banks or bank executive. Two reasons why: 1) Most gave $$$ to Obama’s campaign and 2) Eric Holder and several of his Assistant AGs represented these mortgage lenders at their former law firm.

And that’s why we announced new steps to help responsible homeowners refinance their mortgages.  Already, hundreds of thousands of Americans who were stuck in high-interest loans have been able to take advantage of lower rates and save thousands of dollars every year.

Yes, that $75 billion HAMP was so “successful” that Congress shut it down. The TARP Inspector General reported fraud and improper infrastructure thanks to the Treasury Dept. Obama promised his program would save 9 million homes from foreclosure. Instead we saw record foreclosures in 2010 & 2011. I’m sure his plan will work out about as awesomely as his first one. (Sarc)

That’s not only good for those families; it’s also good for our economy.  When folks are spending less on mortgage payments, they’re spending more at local businesses.  And when those businesses have more customers, they start hiring more workers.

If this were true, the economy should be booming. Folks are spending less because they are making less under Obama.

But we can do even more if Congress is willing to do their part.

Back in February I sent Congress a plan to give every responsible homeowner the chance to save about $3,000 a year on their mortgages by refinancing at lower rates.  It’s a plan that has the support of independent, nonpartisan economists and leaders across the housing industry.  But Republicans in Congress worked to keep it from even getting to a vote.  And here we are – seven months later – still waiting on Congress to act.

We know all too well about those “independent, nonpartisan” economist Obama uses. They tend to be ex-Obama administration members or bundlers.

This makes no sense.  Last week, mortgage rates were at historic lows.  But instead of helping more and more hardworking families take advantage of those rates, Congress was away on break.  Instead of worrying about you, they’d already gone home to worry about their campaigns.

The truth is, it’s going to take a while for our housing market to fully recover.  But it’s going to take a lot more time – and cause a lot more hurt – if Congress keeps standing in the way.  If you agree with me, I hope you’ll make your voices heard.  Call your Representative.  Send them an email.  Show up at their town hall and tell them that when Congress comes back to Washington, they better come back ready to work.  All of you are doing everything you can to meet your responsibilities.  It’s time Congress did the same.  Thanks and have a great weekend.

Let me get this straight. Team Obama is trying to get defense contractor to break the law by not sending out layoff notices and then attempt to bribe contractors by telling them the government taxpayers will cover potential lawsuit costs. This would be the lead story if Bush attempted to break the law to cover-up the numbers of jobs lost.

From The Hill:

The Obama administration issued new guidance intended for defense contractors Friday afternoon, reiterating the administration’s position that the companies should not be issuing layoff notices over sequestration.

The Labor Department issued guidance in July saying it would be “inappropriate” for contractors to issue notices of potential layoffs tied to sequestration cuts. But a few contractors, most notably Lockheed Martin, said they still were considering whether to issue the notices — which would be sent out just days before the November election.

That is the reason, ladies and gentlemen. Team Obama is worried more about politics than laid-off workers. These layoff wouldn’t have to happen if Obama kept his promise to cut the deficit in half. Couldn’t have the truth escape right before the election.

But the Friday guidance from the Office of Management and Budget raised the stakes in the dispute, telling contractors that they would be compensated for legal costs if layoffs occur due to contract cancellations under sequestration — but only if the contractors follow the Labor guidance.

The guidance said that if plant closings or mass layoffs occur under sequestration, then “employee compensation costs for [Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification] WARN act liability as determined by a court” would be paid for covered by the contracting federal agency.

Senate Republicans, who accused the White House of trying to hide job losses after the first guidance, said Friday that the new OMB statement “puts politics ahead of American workers.”

“The Obama Administration is cynically trying to skirt the WARN Act to keep the American people in the dark about this looming national security and fiscal crisis,” Sens. John McCain (R-Ariz.), Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) and Kelly Ayotte (R-N.H.) said in a statement. “The president should insist that companies act in accordance with the clearly stated law and move forward with the layoff notices.”

Obama and his entire administration is nothing but 100% frauds. So much for that “transparency” Obama promised.

From Bloomberg:

On his first full day in office, President Barack Obama ordered federal officials to “usher in a new era of open government” and “act promptly” to make information public.

As Obama nears the end of his term, his administration hasn’t met those goals, failing to follow the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act, according to an analysis of open-government requests filed by Bloomberg News.

Nineteen of 20 cabinet-level agencies disobeyed the law requiring the disclosure of public information: The cost of travel by top officials. In all, just eight of the 57 federal agencies met Bloomberg’s request for those documents within the 20-day window required by the Act.

“When it comes to implementation of Obama’s wonderful transparency policy goals, especially FOIA policy in particular, there has been far more ‘talk the talk’ rather than ‘walk the walk,’” said Daniel Metcalfe, director of the Department of Justice’s office monitoring the government’s compliance with FOIA requests from 1981 to 2007.

The Bloomberg survey was designed in part to gauge the timeliness of responses, which Attorney General Eric Holder called “an essential component of transparency” in a March 2009 memo. About half of the 57 agencies eventually disclosed the out-of-town travel expenses generated by their top official by Sept. 14, most of them well past the legal deadline.

Public Interest

Bloomberg reporters in June filed FOIA requests for fiscal year 2011 taxpayer-supported travel for Cabinet secretaries and top officials of major departments. Justice Department official Melanie Ann Pustay said in an interview that disclosure of those records is in the public interest.

Data and Graphics: Testing Obama’s Promise of Government Transparency

Even agency heads who publicly announce their events — including Holder, Secretary of StateHillary Clinton and Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius — didn’t provide the costs of their out-of-town trips more than three months after the initial request.

“It’s ironic that the demands in the presidential campaign for Mitt Romney’s tax returns are unrelenting, but when it comes time to release the schedules for senior appointees there’s the same denial of access,” said Paul Light, a New York University professor who studies the federal bureaucracy.

“Over the past four years, federal agencies have gone to great efforts to make government more transparent and more accessible than ever, to provide people with information that they can use in their daily lives,” said White House spokesman Eric Schultz, who noted that Obama received an award for his commitment to open government. The March 2011 presentation of that award was closed to the press.

Obama also won the Nobel Peace Prize for doing NOTHING. The entire regime is fraudulent.

Why is Obama giving $450 million to a country he claims isn’t an ally and why is he giving $45 million to untrustworthy Syrian rebels?

From NYTimes:

The Obama administration notified Congress on Friday that it would provide Egypt’s new government an emergency cash infusion of $450 million, but the aid immediately encountered resistance from a prominent lawmaker wary of foreign aid and Egypt’s new course under the leadership of the Muslim Brotherhood.

The aid is part of the $1 billion in assistance that the Obama administration has pledged to Egypt to bolster its transition to democracy after the overthrow last year of the former president, Hosni Mubarak. Its fate, however, was clouded by concerns over the new government’s policies and, more recently, the protests that damaged the American Embassy in Cairo.

The United States Agency for International Development notified Congress of the cash infusion on Friday morning during the pre-election recess, promptly igniting a smoldering debate over foreign aid and the administration’s handling of crises in the Islamic world.

An influential Republican lawmaker, Representative Kay Granger of Texas, immediately announced that she would use her position as chairwoman of the House appropriations subcommittee overseeing foreign aid to block the distribution of the money. She said the American relationship with Egypt “has never been under more scrutiny” than it is in the wake of the election of President Mohamed Morsi, a former leader of the Muslim Brotherhood.

“I am not convinced of the urgent need for this assistance and I cannot support it at this time,” Ms. Granger said in a statement that her office issued even before the administration announced the package.

Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, speaking at a meeting of the Group of 8 nations in New York, said on Friday that the world needed to do more to support the governments that have emerged from the Arab Spring uprisings, including those in Egypt, Libya and Tunisia.

“The recent riots and protests throughout the region have brought the challenge of transition into sharp relief,” Mrs. Clinton said, without mentioning the assistance to Egypt specifically. “Extremists are clearly determined to hijack these wars and revolutions to further their agendas and ideology, so our partnership must empower those who would see their nations emerge as true democracies.”

Then we have the administration giving $45 million to Syrian rebels with unknown allegiance:

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Friday announced $45 million in additional aid for Syrian opposition activists, the latest U.S. push for influence in a civil war that’s raged beyond the international community’s control.

Clinton announced the new aid package before meeting with visiting Syrian dissidents on the margins of this week’s U.N. General Assembly, where world leaders sounded bleaker than ever about the prospects for a negotiated political resolution to the 18-month uprising against Syrian President Bashar Assad.

U.S. humanitarian aid for Syria now will total more than $132 million this year, though Syrian rebels are more interested in weapons and military training than in the American promises of more “nonlethal assistance.” Of the $45 million pledged Friday, $30 million is earmarked for humanitarian assistance and $15 million for radios, training and other technical support for opposition activists.

The US is broke and the taxpayers are suffering as Team Obama dishes out hundreds of millions to groups not friendly to the US. Makes one wonder.
