Bat-shit crazy lefties

Bat-shit crazy lefties

The common thread is unstable Democrats:

[...]Ft Hood: Registered Democrat/Muslim.

Columbine: Too young to vote; both families were registered Democrats and progressive liberals.

Virginia Tech: Wrote hate mail to President Bush and to his staff.

Colorado Theater: Registered Democrat; staff worker on the Obama campaign; Occupy Wall Street participant; progressive liberal.

Connecticut School Shooter: Registered Democrat; hated Christians.

Since liberal progressive Democrats seem to hate guns, and due to their history of mental illness, maybe we should demand a weapons ban to all registered Democrats? After all, 99% of those behind bars vote Democrat because they tend to be liberal with laws. Liberalism is a disease.

Translation: Obama will continue to usurp Congress until someone grows a set.

From Weekly Standard:

“The message that I think everyone heard during the campaign is one that he really embedded in his speech today. And he talked about it a lot, he talked about what he wanted to accomplish in his second term, what he thought was doable, where he wanted to push the envelope. And it was a very personal speech to him,” Jarrett said of Obama’s Second Inaugural Address. “You could feel the passion. He delivered it, I think, extremely well, because every single word was one that he just embraced completely. And I think part of what he said was, is that you can’t — progress isn’t compelled by solving those century-long debates about the role of government, progress is compelled by action right now. And he feels that sense of urgency that he felt four years ago. He’s so proud of his record, but he’s so humbled by the fact that the American people him reelected him for a second term and because this is his last term, this is the end of his political career, he wants to make sure that every single day counts, and that we think about equality and opportunity.”

I’m still trying to figure out how Team Obama stole this election. None of the data adds up but I guess it doesn’t matter when more low-information voters elect a nation-killer.

PRINCETON, NJ — U.S. President Barack Obama begins his second term at a time when Americans are as negative about the state of the country and its prospects going forward as they have been in more than three decades. Fewer than four in 10 Americans (39%) rate the current status of the U.S. at the positive end of a zero to 10 scale. This is about the same as in 2010, but it is fewer than have said so at any point since 1979. As they usually are, Americans are more upbeat in their predictions of where the U.S. will be in five years (48% positive), but this is also lower than at any time since 1979. Fifty-five percent of Americans say the state of the nation five years ago was positive.

[...]The 48% who give a six to 10 ranking when asked to project the status of the U.S. five years from now is tied with the 1979 measure as the lowest in Gallup’s history of asking the question. Additionally, the 40% who give a negative rating (zero to four) when asked to look ahead is lower than at any point in history. These negative ratings include 10% who say the situation of the country in five years will be zero, the worst they can imagine.

Watching an Obama speech is nauseating as is to most since most of us have heard the same lines/promises/insults time-after-time. Now someone who watched Obama’s inauguration speech points out that Obama repeated himself…again. It’s the same “big government is best” liberal-ese. The same catchy slogans that occupy the weak minds of the low-information voters.

From RCP:

I was not going to comment on President Obama’s second inaugural address until I saw a headline quoting a line from the speech: “We are made for this moment.”

Really? “This moment”—again?

“This moment” was in Obama’s big speech in Berlin as a candidate, when he declared to the “people of the world” that “this is our moment. This is our time.” For what, was never clear and still isn’t. “This moment” was also in his acceptance speech in 2008 and it was probably in his last inaugural. Let’s just say that we’ve heard it before.

said recently that politics is going to be boring for a little while, but in his second term, Barack Obama is going to be really super boring.

The rest of his speech suffered from the same insufferable sameness. Paths will be long and difficult, “some” may be recalcitrant naysayers, but it will be our generation’s task to carry on, etc., etc., etc.

Within all of this, there was a central idea, but it was—no surprise—one we’ve heard before.

“No single person can train all the math and science teachers we’ll need to equip our children for the future, or build the roads and networks and research labs that will bring new jobs and businesses to our shores. Now, more than ever, we must do these things together, as one nation, and one people.”

This is the president’s favorite false alternative: either we do things “alone,” or government does them for us “collectively.” What this world view leaves out, of course, is the voluntary cooperation of private individuals, particularly their cooperation in the free market. Which is to say that he excludes from his world view the actual majority of human activity.

But this is the basic false alternative of every Obama speech, and it is the flimsy intellectual foundation of his entire presidency. Individualism and the free market always mean doing everything “alone,” and the only alternative, the only way of doing things “together,” is a giant government program.

That is what “this moment” turns out to be all about: “My fellow Americans, we are made for this moment, and we will seize it—so long as we seize it together.” No seizing moments on your own. You can only seize it if you brought enough for everybody.

Typical race-hustler

Typical race-hustler

Skin color over character. Martin Luther King, Jr. would shake, and lower, his head in shame.

From Politico:

NAACP President Benjamin Todd Jealous says he wants to see President Barack Obama name an African-American woman to the Supreme Court, speaking as the president has faced criticism, including from within his own party, for a lack of diverse appointees.

“He still has several more appointments, and we expect that we’ll see at least the same diversity that we saw the first time around. What we’re hoping to see is a black woman on the U.S. Supreme Court,” Jealous told POLITICO at the BET Inaugural Gala in D.C. on Monday night.

A president should select the most qualified individual and skin color should not be used. That’s your typical racism from the NAACP. This is the president who picked 2 unqualified women (Kagan & Sotomayer) to sit on the Supreme Court already based on race and gender alone.

He mentioned California Attorney General Kamala Harris — a Democrat who is also the state’s first African-American and Indian American attorney general — as a possible SCOTUS appointee.

Because she’s black and a Democrat. If you remember, the NAACP didn’t support Janice Rogers Brown, a black Republican, who Bush nominated. “Racist Democrats” held up her nomination for 2 years.

“Kamala Harris would be a brilliant pick. I personally would like to see somebody young who could stay on there for decades,” he said.

He continued: “If you look at what they did with [Justices] Antonin Scalia and with Clarence Thomas, we’re going to have these guys for decades. It’s time for us to [have that]. So yeah, she would be top. But there are several women who could do this job and do it well.”

Never knew jobs were race-based and that cuts only affect minority groups.

(Reuters) – While delivering mail on Chicago’s North Side, Lakesha Dortch-Hardy spoke about how much she loves her job at the U.S. Postal Service, and how much it would hurt if jobs such as hers were to disappear.

“These jobs are the middle class …” said Dortch-Hardy, a tall, energetic 38-year-old, who took long strides as she wheeled her cart along a row of two- and three-story brick apartment houses. “Without this job, I don’t know where I’d be right now.”

The cash-strapped U.S. Postal Service has eliminated 168,000 jobs since 2006, and more cuts could result as it struggles to avoid its own “fiscal cliff.” As the United States honors Martin Luther King’s civil rights legacy on Monday, many African-American workers may be facing new obstacles to achieving and maintaining a middle-class life style.

That obstacle is Obamanomics but Reuters can’t tell the sheep that.

African-Americans represent 13.1 percent of the U.S. population and 11.6 percent of the labor force, according to a 2012 U.S. Department of Labor report. Nearly one in five African-American workers hold government jobs such as mail clerks, firefighters and teachers, the report said.

“There’s a long tradition of the public sector being more friendly, or less hostile, to African-American workers,” said Robert Zieger, emeritus professor of history at the University of Florida in Gainesville. “The Post Office is the best example.”

African-Americans make up about 20 percent of U.S. Postal Service workers – and are the majority in some urban centers, representing 75 percent to 80 percent of the 5,000 letter carriers in the Chicago area, according to Mack Julion, president of the Chicago branch of the National Association of Letter Carriers.

But the public sector has cut nearly 600,000 jobs since 2009, due to shrinking government budgets and a range of other issues, according to the Bureau of Labor Relations. The slower recovery for African-Americans in the labor market has, in part, been the result of government layoffs after the end of the recession was declared, according to the Labor Department report.

Total bullshit. Most African-Americans work in the private sector. This is how the media spins facts to hide Obama’s failures. Under Obama, blacks have suffered higher unemployment, record poverty, record childhood poverty and lower median household income but Reuters wants to blame layoffs in the public sector.

In December, the black unemployment rate was 14 percent, roughly double that of whites.

What a concept. Follow the Constitution. This is the kind of Senator needed in Congress. Get rid of all those who are usurping the Constitution. All of the Democrats and a huge majority of Republicans need to be purged.
