Doesn’t want the truth to get out

The attack on our free press and free speech continues. This is the same group who locked a reporter in the closet and who demanded that reporters not live tweet Biden’s comments due to his tendency to say really stupid things.

From Capital News Service:

Vice President Joe Biden’s press secretary apologized to a Capital News Service reporter and the Philip Merrill College of Journalism Wednesday after a press office staffer demanded the reporter delete photos taken at an event in Rockville.

The reporter, a credentialed member of the press who is a student at the University of Maryland, College Park, was covering a domestic violence event featuring Biden, Attorney General Eric Holder and Maryland Sen. Ben Cardin.

The apology came shortly after a formal complaint was filed with the Vice President’s press office by Lucy A. Dalglish, dean of the Philip Merrill College of Journalism at the University of Maryland. Capital News Service is a student-staffed news service operated by the college. (Read Dalglish’s letter)

“This was pure intimidation,” Dalglish said, adding that “it’s clear from the circumstance that the journalist did nothing wrong.”

My goal all along was to separate you from you $$$.

My goal all along was to separate you from your $$$ so I can spend it on my base.

So much for Obama’s false claim that if you like  your insurance plan you get to keep it. Soon insurance companies will stop offering Medicare Advantage plans due to costs. This will force many onto the government exchanges so its a win-win for Team Obama. Doctors will also stop accepting Medicare Advantage patients do to low payment reimbursements.

(CNSNews.com) – The Obama administration is planning new cuts to Medicare, a federal regulatory filing reveals, cuts that could mean higher premiums or seniors losing their coverage altogether.

The new cuts come in the form of a planned reduction in the reimbursement rates the government pays to insurance companies that operate Medicare Advantage plans, which are services administered by private for-profit or non-profit providers that offer additional services than can be found in traditional Medicare.

In a Feb. 15 regulatory filing, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) announced the surprised rate cuts of 2.3 percent – meaning it would pay health care providers 2.3 percent less for providing services to patients.

CMS said it was cutting payments because it foresaw the overall costs of the Medicare Advantage program shrinking by 3.2 percent, despite the fact that health care costs – the driver of all federal health care program costs – are only rising.

One has authorized killing Americans with drones and the other didn't

One has authorized killing Americans with drones and the other didn’t

He’s right. Cheney didn’t have a secret kill list and Cheney never authorized the killing of American citizens via drone. The Nobel Peace Prize-winning President did these things.

From Politico:

President Barack Obama’s defense to Democratic senators complaining about how little his administration has told Congress about the legal justifications for his drone policy: Dick Cheney was worse.

Cheney never ordered the targeted killings via drones of US citizens without due process. Obama did that!

That’s part of what two senators in the room recounted of Obama’s response when, near the outset of his closed-door session with the Senate Democratic conference on Tuesday, Sen. Jay Rockefeller (D-W.Va.) confronted the president over the administration’s refusal for two years to show congressional intelligence committees Justice Department Office of Legal Counsel memos justifying the use of lethal force against American terror suspects abroad.

That is what “transparency” is under the Obama regime.

Obama recently allowed members of those panels to see the memos, but only after senators in both parties threatened to hold up the confirmation of John Brennan as Central Intelligence Agency director. Brennan was confirmed last week, but lawmakers not on one of the intelligence panels are still being denied access to the memos and several are steamed over being frozen out.

In response to Rockefeller’s critique, Obama said he’s not involved in drafting such memos, the senators told POLITICO. He also tried to assure his former colleagues that his administration is more open to oversight than that of President George W. Bush, whom many Democratic senators attacked for secrecy and for expanding executive power in the national security realm.

How do you piss off a Democrat? Ask them a question about their constitutional knowledge or tell them the truth.

I love how Diane Feinstein, a career politician, claims she’s not a “6th grader” and then answers Sen. Cruz’s question with her list of career positions. Senate Democrats refused to answer the question and started fuming because they know the 2nd Amendment was put into place to stop the tyranny they want to accomplish.

Like our president, the lying hag then falsely claims that semi-automatic rifles (scary looking rifles that only shoot one bullet with each trigger squeeze) are used in the theater of war. The military does not use semi-automatic rifles in war. If they did they would lose every war. Automatic rifles with select-fire capabilities are used by our military personal. The only semi-automatic they carry is their sidearms, which is usually a handgun.

Democrats don’t know the US Constitution, weapons or anything about our military.

Democrats continue to prove their disdain for the 2nd Amendment and the US Constitution. Banning scary, military-looking weapons will not reduce the murder-rate in gun control crazy liberal cities like Chicago. A gun is a useless tool without an operator.

From WaPo:

The Senate Judiciary Committee approved a bill banning almost 160 specific military-style assault weapons Thursday after a heated exchange between senators about the scope of the Second Amendment.

The Democratic-controlled panel approved the bill on a party-line vote of 10 to eight — all Democrats voted yes, all Republicans voted no.

In the past week the committee has approved four Democratic-backed proposals to limit gun violence in America, all introduced in the wake of the mass shooting at the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in Newtown, Conn. that left 20 elementary school children dead — and occurred three months ago Thursday.

Debate over gun control now shifts to the Senate, where the chamber’s divide between liberal, urban-state Democrats and Republicans and moderate Democrats weary of infringing on the rights of gun owners makes passage of the four proposals more difficult.

The world is finally waking up to the fraud the Chicago Jesus is. Too bad 53% of low-information voters refuse to see the truth.

From Politico:

Worldwide approval of U.S. leadership dipped considerably during President Barack Obama’s fourth year in office — but it increased in some countries, including Mexico.

Of course Mexicans are high on Obama. He is allowing their criminal activity to be rewarded by giving them illegal firearms and free US citizenship. Mexico tends to love criminals as do the Democrats.

The median approval rating for U.S. leadership for 130 countries was 41 percent in 2012, down 8 percentage points from the 49 percent approval during Obama’s first year in office, according to a Gallup poll released Wednesday.

Gallup asked, “Do you approve or disapprove of the job performance of the leadership of the United States?”

Barry is against allowing an audit of The Federal Reserve because he knows there would be civil unrest if Americans found out that the government is screwing us out of our money in favor of giving it to special interest groups who buy the presidency.

Reuters reports, via Chicago Tribune:

The Obama administration is drawing up plans to give all U.S. spy agencies full access to a massive database that contains financial data on American citizens and others who bank in the country, according to a Treasury Department document seen by Reuters.

The proposed plan represents a major step by U.S. intelligence agencies to spot and track down terrorist networks and crime syndicates by bringing together financial databanks, criminal records and military intelligence. The plan, which legal experts say is permissible under U.S. law, is nonetheless likely to trigger intense criticism from privacy advocates.

Financial institutions that operate in the United States are required by law to file reports of “suspicious customer activity,” such as large money transfers or unusually structured bank accounts, to Treasury’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN).

The Federal Bureau of Investigation already has full access to the database. However, intelligence agencies, such as the Central Intelligence Agency and the National Security Agency, currently have to make case-by-case requests for information to FinCEN.

The Treasury plan would give spy agencies the ability to analyze more raw financial data than they have ever had before, helping them look for patterns that could reveal attack plots or criminal schemes.

The planning document, dated March 4, shows that the proposal is still in its early stages of development, and it is not known when implementation might begin.

One of the many reasons I don’t use Google e-mail or products. Google, along with all social media, is spying on us on behalf of the US government.

SAN FRANCISCO — Google on Tuesday acknowledged to state officials that it had violated people’s privacy during its Street View mapping project when it casually scooped up passwords, e-mail and other personal information from unsuspecting computer users.

In agreeing to settle a case brought by 38 states involving the project, the search company for the first time is required to aggressively police its own employees on privacy issues and to explicitly tell the public how to fend off privacy violations like this one.

While the settlement also included a tiny — for Google — fine of $7 million, privacy advocates and Google critics characterized the overall agreement as a breakthrough for a company they say has become a serial violator of privacy.

Complaints have led to multiple enforcement actions in recent years and a spate of worldwide investigations into the way the mapping project also collected the personal data of private computer users.

I love Peter Schiff. He hits it out of the park in this video. Obama, and his left-wing fluffers, scream that they hate the rich and “fat-cat” bankers but seem to have no issue when Obama appoints them into his cabinet and gives them positions where they can screw the taxpayers even more. As Schiff says “it’s all an act.” Politicians only care about themselves and are screwing us to make themselves rich. Got to love liberal hypocrisy.

Do-nothing Democrat-controlled Senate. You won’t hear Obama berating them about being obstructionists.

From Politico:

On back-to-back votes Thursday, the Senate killed the last two legislative options standing between Congress and tens of billions in across-the-board spending cuts — now expected to take effect by midnight Friday.

President Barack Obama and top House and Senate leaders will meet Friday. But at this stage, the first round of $85.3 billion in reductions appears unstoppable.

In a single stroke, total discretionary appropriations will be rolled back to levels below 2008, the last year of George W. Bush’s presidency. Absent some compromise, the full long-term reduction over nine years will be nearly $1 trillion.

For both Congress and Obama, surrendering to the automatic cuts represents a watershed event and one that won’t end soon. Indeed Thursday’s votes usher in what could be months of turmoil, as the government adjusts like an aircraft carrier turning slowly in the ocean.

Fearful of the political backlash, the Senate Republican leadership mounted a last ditch attempt to cede broad authority to Obama to implement the first reductions over the next seven months. But splits in the GOP doomed any chance of success, and that bill failed 38 to 62 with as many as nine Republicans joining in the opposition.

Notice how Republicans get blamed despite the Democrats controlling the Senate? More Democrats voted NO than Republicans who tried to give Obama responsibility for the cuts he signed into law and threatened to veto any bill stopping these cuts. Shhh, low-information dolts don’t know the truth.
