The attempts by Democrats to censor folks who have a different opinion is becoming a noise. Just this week we have Senator Jay Rockefeller who wants the FCC to take Fox News and MSNBC off the air and Al Sharpton wants the FCC to shut down Rush Limbaugh. This is where you can see the difference between Republicans and Democrats.

Republicans love the constitution. Democrats constantly attempt to change it. Republicans will use the remote control when they don’t like what they hear. Democrats demand censorship and want people’s opinions shut down.

So much for that tolerance.

Has anyone else noticed how the left is constantly attacking our first amendment rights of free speech? Since the election of Obama, the left has constantly attacked anyone who has a different opinion than they do. Obama, and several members of his administration, have openly attacked Fox News because Fox News doesn’t carry their water.

We have all this talk about ‘net-neutrality’ and the FCC and FTC are the talkers. This is the same FTC who recently dropped its investigation of Google who admitted to stealing people’s e-mails, passwords and IP address. Since Google has deep ties with Obama, the media pretty much ignore this story. Imagine if this had been a corporation tied to Bush who admitted to invading the privacy of taxpayers.

Remember, if they control the messenger, they control the message. This has been the goal since Feb. 2009. Obama appointed czars such as Cass Sunstein and Mark Lloyd along with White House communication director, Anita Dunn, who happen to be all for government controlled media through regulations. All three are fans of socialism. Shocking, I know.

Why are these Socialist Progressive Democrats openly against free speech? It’s because they are being exposed. If you control the media, you control the message and when you control the message, you can fool a lot of weak-minded individuals. Look at what the media did to get Obama elected. Imagine if they vetted Obama in the same fashion they vetted Sarah Palin.

The media covered up all the corrupt ties Obama had to Frank Marshall Davis, Rashid Khalidi, Bill Ayers, Rev. Wright, Tony Rezko, Rod Blagojevich, Van Jones, SEIU, ACORN, Code Pink…so on and so forth. I don’t have enough time to list all the radical ties Obama has, but you get the point. None of this was reported until after Obama was in office.

The desire to control the media is a desire to hide the truth. This is why we continue to hear all this talk about censorship and taking away people’s free speech and restricting the freedom of the press. Radicals are scared to be exposed and the truth does this.

To all the Progressive Socialist Democrats out there: If you don’t like something you hear…change the channel. This is still a free country, despite all the radical things you idiots have done the past two years. America has rejected you and your radical president.

To end. If you don’t like what I write…don’t read my articles.

Another victory for free speech. This will piss off liberals/progressives who believe only their voices should be heard.

MakeNoLaw.org reports:

As Make No Law blog readers know, the Institute for Justice is engaged in a nationwide Citizen Speech Campaign to free grassroots political activists from government-mandated burdens on free speech in the form of campaign finance laws.  Yesterday, that campaign scored a major victory.

The Tenth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals unanimous ruled (.pdf) in favor of IJ’s clients in Sampson v. Buescher.  The case involved Colorado resident Karen Sampson and five of her neighbors, who were sued for opposing the annexation of their neighborhood without first registering with the government and complying with burdensome disclosure laws.

The ruling is significant not just because it reached the right result, but because it quite rightly rejects what has become the “reform” movement’s primary argument in support of disclosure in ballot-issue campaigns:  the so-called “informational interest.”  The idea is to vote intelligently.

We’ve argued before that what this really amounts to is a government endorsement of the ad hominem fallacy—the belief that who is saying something is more important that what is being said—which distracts from debate on the merits of proposed ballot issues.  Now the Tenth Circuit has agreed.

On behalf of a unanimous court, Judge Harris L. Hartz wrote:

When many complain about the deterioration of public discourse—in particular, the inability or unwillingness of citizens to listen to proposals made by particular people or by members of particular groups—one could wonder about the utility of ad hominem arguments in evaluating ballot issues.  Nondisclosure could require the debate to actually be about the merits of the proposition on the ballot.

The court went on to hold that grassroots groups of citizens cannot be forced to register with the government and comply with burdensome disclosure laws as a condition of speaking out about ballot issues.

In addition to being a major legal victory, the ruling is a vindication of IJ’s groundbreaking strategic research on the costs that disclosure imposes on grassroots political activists.

The Politically Correct Police have struck again. This time it was because a liberal news pundit was honest and said what a majority of Americans feel. We now live in a country where telling the truth is politically incorrect and can get you fired from your job.

Juan Williams was fired because CAIR, a pro-Muslim/pro-terrorist/pro-Sharia law group complained to NPR and demanded action.

From the New York Times: (there is no mention about CAIR in this article)

NPR has terminated its contract with Juan Williams, one of its senior news analysts, after he made comments about Muslims on the Fox News Channel.

NPR said in a statement that it gave Mr. Williams notice of his termination on Wednesday night.

The move came after Mr. Williams, who is also a Fox News political analyst, appeared on the “The O’Reilly Factor” on Monday. On the show, the host, Bill O’Reilly, asked him to respond to the notion that the United States was facing a “Muslim dilemma.” Mr. O’Reilly said, “The cold truth is that in the world today jihad, aided and abetted by some Muslim nations, is the biggest threat on the planet.”

Mr. Williams said he concurred with Mr. O’Reilly.

He continued: “I mean, look, Bill, I’m not a bigot. You know the kind of books I’ve written about the civil rights movement in this country. But when I get on the plane, I got to tell you, if I see people who are in Muslim garb and I think, you know, they are identifying themselves first and foremost as Muslims, I get worried. I get nervous.”

Mr. Williams also made reference to the Pakistani immigrant who pleaded guilty this month to trying to plant a car bomb in Times Square. “He said the war with Muslims, America’s war is just beginning, first drop of blood. I don’t think there’s any way to get away from these facts,” Mr. Williams said.

NPR said in its statement that the remarks “were inconsistent with our editorial standards and practices, and undermined his credibility as a news analyst with NPR.”

The public radio organization said it thanked him for many years of service. Mr. Williams did not immediately respond on Wednesday night to an e-mail seeking comment.

Mr. Williams’s contributions on Fox raised eyebrows at NPR in the past. In February 2009, NPR said it had asked that he stop being identified on “The O’Reilly Factor” as a “senior correspondent for NPR,” even though that title was accurate.

NPR is funded by taxpayer dollars. It’s time to stop funding a left-leaning organization who fires someone for expressing his concerns and for using his first amendment rights.

It is a coincidence that NPR fires Juan Williams less than a week after it receives a $1.8 million dollar grant from a George Soros group. Soros just donated $1 million to left-wing Media Matters to go after Fox News.

Who said the U.S. Constitution was a charter of negative liberties? Who openly attacked the Supreme Court of the United States during his State of the Union speech? Who has falsely misinterpreted the ruling to make their case seem just? Yes, the liar-in-chief, Barack Hussein Obama.

There goes the lies again. Obama is still upset about the Supreme Court of the United States ruling against the FEC in the Citizens United vs. FEC case. This is why Obama openly attack SCOTUS during his first State of the Union speech. Of course, Obama lied about the ruling and this forced Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito to mouth “not true.” Obama tried to make it about foreign corporation spending unlimited amounts during elections. There is already a law that prohibits this and one would think a “constitutional scholar” such as Obama would know how to read legal rulings.

Obama is upset because corporation can now produce movies and pamphlets, which the FEC sought to stop. Citizens United produce a movie about Hillary Clinton and it was stopped from being released during the presidential campaign. Free speech is free speech.

Of course Obama and the Democrats wanted to pass a bill to fight the Supreme Court ruling. Except, they carved out special exemptions for Unions, the AARP and the NRA. Why would the Republicans vote to restrict the rights to free speech, as Obama and the Democrats have attempted to do since the dictator took office? The attacks on Fox News and other media; the attacks on U.S. citizens and now these attacks on corporations. It’s all in the name of transparency.

Under the written Constitution, “Congress shall make no law abridging freedom of speech.” Under the living one, no such protection exists. Remember, our President, and most on the left, believes the Constitution is a living document full of negative liberties detailing what the Government can’t do to you. It doesn’t define what Government should do for you, as our Marxist-in-chief stated.

The Obama administration is seeking to make it easier for the FBI to make companies turn over records of individual’s Internet activity without a court order. As long as the agents deem the information relevant to a terrorism or intelligence investigation, it is legal under this potential bill. Many electronic privacy organizations see it as a major violation of privacy and the constitution.

Where are the lefties that were ranting about this under G.W. Bush?

Maybe this Judge could make the 4 Supreme Court Justices, who voted against the 2nd Amendment in the Heller vs DC and McDonald vs Chicago cases, take this course.

A federal judge has lambasted an Iowa sheriff for denying a gun permit to an outspoken government watchdog and anti-abortion advocate whom some in the area considered “weird.”

It was wrong for Osceola County Sheriff Douglas Weber to deny Paul Dorr of Ocheyedan a permit to carry a concealed weapon three years ago, according to a court ruling issued Wednesday.

U.S. District Judge Mark Bennett also ordered Weber to successfully complete a court-approved course on the U.S. Constitution within five months.

“In denying (Dorr) a concealed weapons permit, Sheriff Weber single-handedly hijacked the First Amendment and nullified its freedoms and protections,” Bennett wrote in the ruling.

Anger over the sheriff’s denial of the gun permit was a factor in inspiring some grass-roots activists to push for changes to Iowa’s weapons law. Starting Jan. 1, a new law requires sheriffs to issue gun permits except under a narrow set of circumstances.

It seems the Sheriff didn’t like Mr. Door’s political activism and this is not a valid reason for a sheriff to deny a concealed weapon permit to someone.

Bennett ruled that Weber’s denial of Dorr’s gun permit in 2007 trampled his free speech rights because the sheriff was retaliating against Dorr for publicly protesting, passing out leaflets and writing letters to newspaper editors on a variety of topics.

“The court finds a tsunami, a maelstrom, an avalanche, of direct uncontroverted evidence in Sheriff Weber’s own testimony to conclude beyond all doubt that he unquestionably violated the First Amendment rights of … Paul Dorr,” Bennett wrote in the decision.

“This is a great reminder that the First Amendment protects the sole individual who may be a gadfly, kook, weirdo, nut job, whacko and spook, with the same force of protection as folks with more majoritarian and popular views,” he added.

When will Liberals begin to understand that the U.S. Constitution was designed to prevent things like this from happening. The 2nd Amendment was put in the Constitution to protect all the other amendments. Now if we can only get the 4 liberals Supreme Court Justices to follow the Constitution, America can get back on the path the Founding Fathers laid out for it.

Obama’s Supreme Court nominee, Elena Kagan, argued before Supreme Court: “Its Fine if The Law Bans Books Because Government Won’t Really Enforce It.” Great choice Obama. Another socialist progressive who wants to destroy the U.S. Constitution and the 1st Amendment.

Kagan also believes that citizens have no rights to privacy in their emails and internet communications. Not to mention her opinion on the 2nd Amendment. Kagan needs to be grilled on her beliefs and prove that she is a believer in the U.S. Constitution. Going by her opinions about the 1st and 2nd Amendments, I’d say Kagan is another Constitution-hating liberal activist.

Politically Incorrect News for Politically Incorrect Readers

Some items you may or may not have read…

Item #1- Source: Administration Weighs Bypassing Congress to Let Illegal Immigrants Stay. Would someone who hates the U.S. Constitution and claims it is a charter of negative liberties attempt to do such an impeachable offense? They passed the first law in history that forces Americans to purchase insurance. ‘Nuff said.

Item #2- Democrats: Free speech for me, not for thee. Nothing new to learn about the Democrats attacking free speech again. We have seen this since Obama was elected. Of course this new law protects the beloved Obama Unions. This is the Democrats, and Obama’s way, to attack the Supreme Court Citizen’s United ruling.

Item #3- Business’s Buyer’s Remorse. For cooperating with the White House, member companies of the Business Roundtable gets socked with higher taxes and more regulations. Are they really shocked that Obama and his progressive goons lied and fooled them? Obama is corruption.

Item #4- Obama Had 4 Senate Successors in Mind. Blago case proves Obama as the corrupt politician we have come to know and loathe. Chicago-style thuggery and corruption.

Item #5- Obama Picks Critic of Local Illegal Immigration Enforcement for Key Role at ICE. Notice Obama’s pattern? He appointed Andy Stern to his ‘deficit commission’ despite Stern leaving SEIU in the hole. He appoints Democratic campaign donors who happen to be environmental nuts to his “BP oil commission.” Now he appoints someone who is opposed to immigration enforcement to a role at ICE.

The FCC, under the Obama administration, is becoming a dangerous government agency. The FCC is attempting to take control over the internet through their “Net-Neutrality” scheme. This is the progressives attempt to squelch free speech and freedom of the press.

Control the messenger, control the message.

Now the FTC, Federal Trade Commission, wants to save control journalism by reinventing it. Not only that, the FTC wants to create a few new taxes to keep their brand of journalism afloat. Taxes such as a “journalist tax credit” among other taxes on commercial radio and consumer electronics.

Again, control the messenger, control the message.

People need to open their eyes to these progressives and their power grabs of our industries. The material proof is right in front of your eyes. The Obama administration is out to grab control of anything and everything. Remember what was said right before the election???

 You were warned!
