Not Wanting to Waste a Crisis, White House and Special Interest Groups Plan to Push More Gun Control Laws That Criminals Won’t Obey

The White House and gun control supporters are gearing up for a whirlwind month, with plans to pass reform legislation before outrage over the Sandy Hook massacre has a chance to fade.

As Rahm said: You can’t let a crisis go to waste.

While the fiscal cliff has dominated Washington’s attention in recent weeks, lawmakers and activists are laying the groundwork for their big push. Vice President Joe Biden, tasked with heading a commission to investigate gun violence, has been quietly meeting with experts, interest groups, and public officials and is expected to release a set of recommendations within weeks. Boston mayor Thomas Menino, co-chair of Michael Bloomberg’s Mayors Against Illegal Guns, told the Boston Herald this week that an optimistic Biden had assured him that Obama would sign legislation “by the end of January.”

Notice most of these anti-gun lefties are surrounded by armed guards 24/7?

“We had been led to believe their report would come by end of January, but we’re hearing they may want to have something out by January 15, even quicker than expected,” Mark Glaze, director of Mayors Against Illegal Guns, told TPM.

House Democrats are moving ahead with their own plans as well. On Friday, Rep. Mike Thompson (D-CA), chair of the newly created Gun Violence Prevention Task Force, announced the appointment of 12 vice chairs, including Rep. Carolyn McCarthy (D-NY), the body’s leading voice on gun control. According to a Democratic aide, the group plans to release its recommendations in early February and is already organizing public hearings on the issue.

Thankfully, Republicans control the House and there is no way in hell these gun-grabbing fascist will get these laws passed. However, I suspect Obama will use executive order when these bills/laws fail.

Obama has personally identified an assault weapons ban and limits on ammunition magazine size as top priorities. Other possible reforms could include background check requirements for purchases at gun shows, a loophole that’s helped create a huge market of off-record arms purchases.

Liberal lie. You have to have a permit, or CCW license, to purchase firearms at gun shows. Private sales of firearms between citizens do not require background checks. Criminals are not obtaining guns at gun shows. They steal them and NEVER submit to a background check. Stupid fucking Nazi Liberal.

Lying Anti-Gun Liberal Lies About Gun Stats to Push Gun Control and Claims that “The State Ought to Have a Monopoly on Legitimate Violence”

Hitler would love the current crop of Socialist Democrats we have ruining the country and pushing false propaganda for their lust of gun control. Socialist Democrats have a history of gun control and can’t seem to grasp the line in the 2nd Amendment that clearly states: the RIGHT of the PEOPLE(not the government) to KEEP and BEAR ARMS SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED.

The government has a ZERO success rate of preventing anything. How has that “war of drugs” worked out? How about stamping out poverty? The government can’t even stop their own illegal flow of guns into Mexico, yet this liberal ass-wipe believes they can prevent criminals from killing.

Nadler continued:  “Now, the fact of the matter is that Germany has 150 or so people killed a year with guns; Canada, 170; the United States 9,000 to 10,000 a year.  We have a murder rate with guns that are 15 to 20 times higher than any other industrialized country.  There’s only one explanation and that’s the availability, the easy availability of assault weapons and of high-capacity clips.”

This is what you call gun-control ignorance. Germany has very strict gun control laws yet have had some of the worst mass murders (not including what gun control nut, and left-wing hero, Adolf Hitler did). Violent crime is always higher in countries with strict gun control laws. Just look at the UK for example. Left-wing idiots want admit the truth. Gun ownership has went up and violent crimes are at a 37-year low.

“Now, last Friday we lost 20 children and six adults murdered in a Connecticut school,” he said.  “Last Friday a madman attacked a school in China, an elementary school in China.  Twenty-two kids were injured, but none killed because he had a knife, not an assault rifle.  That’s the difference.”

CNSNews.com then asked, “But if a bill was brought up and passed to ban high-capacity clips would the military still be allowed to use them?”

“Of course, the military would be allowed to use them,” Nadler said.

“SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED.” Hitler thought the same way Nadler thinks and we know what happened under Nazis.

“So only the government would be allowed to have high-capacity clips?” CNSNews.com asked.

“Well, I think the legislation doesn’t ban existing ones but — although I would like to do that, too,” he said.  “But I think the legislation we’re talking about would prohibit the sale and probably manufacturer sale of high-capacity clips in the future, not those that are in private possession today.”

“But let me say, yes,” Nadler added.  “One of the definitions of a nation state is that the state has a monopoly on legitimate violence.  And the state ought to have a monopoly on legitimate violence.”

“If the premise of your question is that people are going to resist a tyrannical government by shooting machine guns at American troops, that’s insane,” he said.

This is the propaganda. American’s don’t have machine guns. Left-wing socialists are attempting to paint semi-automatic guns as “machine guns” to push their anti-2nd Amendment gun control fantasy. All left-wingers in history (Hitler, Mao, Stalin, American liberals) have wanted to disarm their citizens. China wants American liberals to disarm US citizens. Liberals have been on the wrong side of history since…forever

Walter Williams on Leftists, Progressives And Socialists

A little history lesson on socialism and communism is needed since so many Progressives have a rosy outlook on these two political philosophies and are openly promoting it in America by calling it social justice.

Walter Williams reports, via Investors.com:

One of the greatest sources of confusion and deception is the difference between leftists, progressives, socialists, communists and fascists.

I thought about this as I caught a glimpse of the Oct. 2 “One Nation” march on Washington. The participants proudly marched with banners, signs and placards reading “Socialists,” “Ohio U Democratic Socialists,” “International Socialists Organization,” “Socialist Party USA,” “Build A Socialist Alternative” and other signs expressing support for socialism and communism.

They had stands where they sold booklets under the titles of “Marxism and the State,” “Communist Manifesto,” “Four Marxist Classics,” “The Road to Socialism” and similar titles.

The gathering had the support of the AFL-CIO, Service Employees International Union, stalwarts of the Democratic Party such as Al Sharpton and organizations such as the NAACP, the National Council of La Raza, Green for All, the Sierra Club and the Children’s Defense Fund.

What goes unappreciated is that socialists and communists have produced the greatest evil in mankind’s history. You say, “Williams, what in the world are you talking about? Socialists, communists and their fellow travelers care about the little guy in his struggle for a fair shake! They’re trying to promote social justice.”

Let’s look at some of the history of socialism and communism.

Nazism is a form of socialism. In fact, Nazi stands for National Socialist German Workers’ Party. Nazis murdered 20 million of their own people and in nations they captured.

The unspeakable acts of Adolf Hitler’s Socialist Workers’ Party pale in comparison to the horrors committed in the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR). Between 1917 and 1987, Vladimir Lenin, Joseph Stalin and their successors murdered, or were otherwise responsible for the deaths of, 62 million of their own people.

Between 1949 and 1987, Mao Tse-tung and his successors were responsible for the deaths of 76 million Chinese. The most authoritative tally of history’s most murderous regimes is in a book by University of Hawaii’s Professor Rudolph J. Rummel, “Death by Government.” A wealth of information is provided at his website.

You say, “Williams, isn’t it a bit unfair to lump the “One Nation” communists, socialists and their supporters with mass murderers such as Hitler, Stalin and Mao Tse-tung? After all, they expressed no such murderous goal.”

When Hitler, Stalin and Mao were campaigning for political power, you can bet they didn’t campaign on the promise to murder millions of their own people, and probably the thought of doing so never crossed their minds. Those horrors were simply the end result of long evolution of ideas leading to consolidation of power in central government in the quest for “social justice.”
