Islamist win 75% of Egyptian Parliament

Wonder if Obama is golf clapping about “his” success of “supporting” the fall of Egypt into the hands of hard-line Islamic extremist?

CAIRO (AP) – Final results on Saturday showed that Islamist parties won nearly three-quarters of the seats in parliament in Egypt’s first elections since the ouster of authoritarian president Hosni Mubarak, according to election officials and political groups.

The Islamist domination of Egypt’s parliament has worried liberals and even some conservatives about the religious tone of the new legislature, which will be tasked with forming a committee to write a new constitution. It remains unclear whether the constitution will be written while the generals who took power after Mubarak’s fall are still in charge, or rather after presidential elections this summer.

In the vote for the lower house of parliament, a coalition led by the fundamentalist Muslim Brotherhood won 47 percent, or 235 seats in the 498-seat parliament. The ultraconservative Al-Nour Party was second with 25 percent, or 125 seats.

The Salafi Al-Nour, which was initially the biggest surprise of the vote, wants to impose strict Islamic law in Egypt, while the more moderate Brotherhood, the country’s best-known and organized party, has said publicly that it does not seek to force its views about an appropriate Islamic lifestyle on Egyptians.

Shariah4America wants to put burkha on Lady Liberty

Wake up America! The group that Team Obama is scared to mention by name is trying to bring their backward religious law to the U.S. Brought to you by “the religion of peace.”

As we’ve reported, controversial UK Muslim cleric Anjem Choudary has called on Muslims to “rise to implement the Shari’ah in America,” starting with a planned demonstration in front of the White House on Thursday.

Choudary’s “call for revolution” is being organized and advertised by Shariah4America, a group calling for the “Islamic demolition of the Statue of Liberty” and a remodeling of the White House into a “White Masjid.”

According to the group’s website, the Statue of Liberty “elevates the command of man over the command of God” and public veneration of the statue amounts to idol worship strictly prohibited by Islam. “This has forced sincere Muslims to develop realistic plans that will aid in the removal of the Statue of Liberty.

Shariah is the Islamic law that stones people to death for committing adultery. The same law that chops off the hands of people who steal. The same religious law that causes followers to fly planes into building and strap bombs to themselves to go boom.

“Due to the scale of the task at hand, it is highly likely that rigorous safety checks will need to be employed before the demolition of the Statue of Liberty can commence; thus as a temporary measure, it is proposed that a large burkha is used to cover the statue, thereby shielding this horrendous eye sore from public view as well as sending a strong message to its French creators,” the site reads. Who’s the Extremist?

Another trend that I have noticed about those Progressive’s from the left is how they love to label people. During the health care debate, T.E.A. (Taxed Enough Already) Party protesters were labeled everything under the sun. One of their favorites was to label anyone who went against Obama’s policies as an extremist.

Obama, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid wasted little time in pinning the extremist label on those that attended T.E.A. party protests and town hall meetings. In the wake of the terrorist attack at Ft. Hood, Obama came out and told everyone not to jump to conclusions until all the facts were found.

You have peaceful T.E.A. Party protester being labeled extremist and they killed zero. You have an Islamic terrorist that killed 13 unarmed soldiers and wounded 29 more, yet Obama and the progressive left are afraid to pin the extremist label because of political correctness.

Obama did not want to jump into this debate, unlike the Gates debate where he jumped in without knowing any of the facts. The difference is that this case involve an extremist who was Muslim and Obama has apeasd the Muslim world since his first day in office.

Not a single peep from the White House. Not a single mention of terrorism or the labeling of extremist has seeped from those on the left. Instead we received all kinds of excuses for Nidal Malik Hasan crime. Obama said he “just snapped.” Really?

 Instead of extremist or terrorist, the alphabet-media referred to Hasan as a “shooter” or a “gunman.” He was troubled and harassed man. He had a bumper sticker scraped off his car. Hasan suffered from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) even though he never served a tour in Iraq or Afghanistan. Guess Hasan obtained PTSD via osmosis?

To Obama, the progressive left and the alphabet-media:

This was an act of terrorism. Hasan openly spoke about Islamic jihad to fellow soldiers. Hasan opened fire on unarmed soldiers, while shouting “Allahu Akbar” which is the typical cry for an Islamic terrorist just before they blow themselves up or gun down their victims.

American citizens are quickly labeled extremists for enacting their first amendment rights and speaking out against the Obama administration’s attempt to fundamentally change America. A Muslim terrorist kills 13 American soldiers and the politically correct progressives, lead by Obama, refuse to label Hasan a terrorist or extremist.

To me, that makes Obama and his progressive minions extremist. This is nothing new for Obama. He is use to being surrounded by radicals and extremists. Just another day at the Obama White House.
