Clearly it’s not racial profiling since this is happening under Obama.
David Codrea reports, via The Examiner:
Effective as of this past Monday, the Firearms Transaction Record, widely referred to as the “Form 4473,”which is mandated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives for individuals to purchase firearms from licensed dealers, has been modified to require transferees to identify if their “ethnicity” is “Hispanic or Latino,” attorney and author Evan Nappen reported yesterday on the Pro-Gun New Hampshire website.
“Failure to do so will cause potential criminal prosecution and a denial of Second Amendment Rights,” Nappen writes. “The Form 4473 has been around since 1968, but never before has one ethnic group been singled out where individuals have to affirmatively state whether they ARE or ARE NOT a member.”
“What if the ‘ethnicity’ question demanded ‘Jew or Not a Jew’?” Nappen asked. “Would that ethnicity question be acceptable?
“[I]t is offensive and not necessary,” he concluded.” It has nothing whatsoever to do with one’s qualification to purchase a gun.”

This is the politically correct world liberals want us to live in. You can’t speak the truth out of fear of hurting someone’s feelings. Well, tough shit. I call ‘em as I see ‘em. If you enter any country illegally, you are a criminal. I’d suggest that everyone stop calling criminals “illegal immigrants” because it might offend those legal immigrants who obey our laws and entered the U.S. legally.
Ever notice that bleeding heart liberals always seem to side with criminals and want to protect their feelings?
Matthew Boyle reports, via The Daily Caller:
The Diversity Committee of the Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ) is seeking to “inform and sensitize” reporters nationwide about how “offensive” the term “illegal immigrant” is to Latinos.
Anytime you see the word ‘diversity’ it means hide the truth. Who cares if the word offends any particular group. If you’re in the country illegally, what you’re called is the least of your worries. Maybe Latinos should call ICE and turn in these criminals if they are so offended.
Diversity Committee member Leo Laurence announced the campaign against “illegal immigrant” and “illegal alien” terminology in the latest issue of the organization’s magazine, Quill, writing that those who have not obtained citizenship but have entered the country without any prior approval should be called “undocumented workers” or “undocumented immigrants.”
Wonder what this libtard calls someone who robs a bank and steals money without approval or a person who breaks into a house without prior approval? I like to call them ‘undocumented Democrats’ because they typical leech off the taxpayers.
In his report, Laurence quotes SPJ Diversity Committee chairman George Daniels as saying, “this is not about being politically correct,” but about aiming to “minimize harm,” when reporting. When Daniels says “minimize harm,” he is referring to one of the major tenets of SPJ’s code of ethics, which many journalists nationwide follow.
Laurence defends SPJ’s new campaign by offering an interpretation of the Constitution that provides for constitutional rights for everyone, including non-citizens, saying that any person should be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. He said that, constitutionally, a judge is the only person who can deem anyone or anything “illegal.”
Typical libtard wanting to reward criminals with undeserved Constitutional rights. I wonder if he works for the Obama administration?

Stop drinking what the Democrats force you to drink. Drink Tequila
Crazy but if it get’s Latinos away from the Democratic Party, and their plantation, I like it.
From the Las Vegas Sun:
Latino leaders in Nevada and nationwide are quietly debating whether to sever their traditional Democratic ties and form an independent grass-roots political group.
The idea, born of frustration over the party’s inaction on immigration reform and fears that as a voting bloc they’re a political afterthought, Latino leaders have discussed the idea among themselves locally and in conference calls with colleagues across the country.
The unlikely model for the movement they would like to launch is the Tea Party — not in substance, of course, but in its grass-roots organizational style. Acknowledging the source of their inspiration, Latino leaders have dubbed the proposed movement the “Tequila Party.”
These Hispanic leaders have noticed that while the Tea Party has had spotty electoral success, it has called attention to its concerns and values and put the establishment on notice.
“I don’t know if it’s going to happen, but there’s talk,” said Fernando Romero, president of the nonpartisan Hispanics in Politics, Nevada’s oldest Hispanic political group. “There’s discussion about empowerment of the Latino vote.”
Hispanics have proved to be a powerful political force in Nevada and nationally. They were instrumental in electing President Barack Obama and are credited with saving Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s re-election this month. In Nevada, Latinos accounted for 15 percent of voters in 2008 and a record 16 percent in this month’s midterm elections.

This is what happens when you’re a sanctuary state. California has the highest rate of illegal immigrants, who continue to burden the education, health care, legal and welfare systems. This is one of the many reasons California is beyond broke. It’s OK. Since the state is mostly full of Democrats, they can continue supporting the criminals with their tax dollars.
Latinos now make up a majority of California’s public school students, cracking the 50 percent barrier for the first time in the state’s history, according to data released Friday by the state Department of Education.
Does the data give details to how many of these students are illegal or anchor babies?
Almost 50.4 percent of the state’s students in the 2009-10 school year identified themselves as Hispanic or Latino, up 1.36 percent from the previous year.
In comparison, 27 percent of California’s 6.2 million students identified themselves as white, 9 percent as Asian and 7 percent as black. Students calling themselves Filipino, Pacific Islander, Native American or other total almost 7 percent.
While the result was no surprise to educators, experts say the shift underscores the huge impact Latinos already have on California’s politics, economy and school system.
That influence will only grow as Latino parents – now in the majority - realize many of the schools their children attend are underfunded, said Bruce Fuller, a professor of education and public policy at UC Berkeley.
“It turns upside down how we think about California students,” he said.
“A lot depends on the extent to which Latino parents come together and organize,” Fuller added. “These are parents who historically have not had much political power. But as they are coming together and feeling their oats, they may organize around education.”

Blacks are upset at President Obama. Unemployment is higher in the black communities and black leaders are on Obama’s ass about it. Even the Congressional Black Cacus has blocked some legislation to protest this. So, where is Kanye West when black folks really need someone to say “Obama doesn’t care about black people?”
The Associated Press reports:
Hispanic and black businesses are receiving a disproportionately small number of federal stimulus contracts, creating a rising chorus of demands for the Obama administration to be more inclusive and more closely track who receives government-financed work. Latinos and blacks have faced obstacles to winning government contracts long before the stimulus. They own 6.8 and 5.2 percent of all businesses, respectively, according to census figures. Yet Latino-owned business have received only 1.7 percent of $46 billion in federal stimulus contracts recorded in U.S. government data, and black-owned businesses have received just 1.1 percent.
That pot of money is just a small fraction of the $862 billion economic stimulus law. Billions more have been given to states, which have used the money to award contracts of their own.
Maybe if blacks and Latinos were unions they would have receive bigger chunks of the stimulus. However, they have no right to be mad. Nobody was helped by Obama’s stimulus. Well, besides Obama’s cronies and his beloved unions.
Kanye! It’s time to speak up.
