Two Dead After Suicide Bomb Attack at US Embassy in Ankara, Turkey

Maybe we should put Patriot missiles at our embassies to protect them from Islamic terrorists instead of protecting Muslim countries from other Muslim countries.

Hurriyet Daily News:

A suicide bomb attack at the U.S. Embassy in Ankara, killed one Turkish security guard along with the attecker, Ankara Gov. Aladdin Yüksel.

A woman, who was at the embassy for business, was also injured, Yüksel said.

The explosion occurred at the entrance used by the embassy personnel and their visitors, CNNTürk reported. A security guard at the X-ray machine at the entrance was killed in the explosion that occurred as the suspected suicide bomber was passing through the machine, the report said.

Bomb experts are at the scene of the blast, Daily News reporter Hüseyin Hayatsever reported from the site of the explosion. Police have taken precautions against the possibility of a second attack, he added.

9) Only in America could the government collect more tax dollars from the people than any nation in recorded history, still spend a Trillion dollars more than it has per year – for total spending of $7-Million PER MINUTE, and complain that it doesn’t have nearly enough money.

Obama’s CIA Director Nominee Says Islam Helped Shape His World View

Obama + Brennan = Muslim appeasers who think alike.

(CNSNews.com) – As a college student in the 1970s, John Brennan, President Obama’s nominee for CIA director, traveled in Indonesia where – he recalled in a speech in New York in 2010 – “despite my long hair, my earring and my obvious American appearance, I was welcomed throughout that country, in a way that is a reflection of the tremendous warmth of Islamic cultures and societies.”

Try that in Muslim countries like Iran, Pakistan, Syria, Libya and see how warm Islamic culture is.

Brennan’s Feb. 13, 2010 address to a meeting at the Islamic Center at New York University, facilitated by the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), provided an insight into his views on Islam, a faith which he said during the speech had “helped to shape my own world view.”

Travels around the world over more than three decades had taught him about “the goodness and beauty of Islam,” said Brennan, whose 25-year career at the CIA until 2005 included a stint as station chief in Riyadh.

Damn, he sounds like Obama when spreading these lies about Islam. Just don’t ask them why the Koran tells its followers to kill those who don’t convert.

“Like the president during his childhood years in Jakarta, I came to see Islam not how it is often misrepresented, but for what it is – how it is practiced every day, by well over a billion Muslims worldwide, a faith of peace and tolerance and great diversity.”

Peace? Tolerance? Diversity? They have been fighting for centuries. Islam is not tolerant (ask women and gays) and as for diversity, try to go to Mecca as any other faith besides Islam and see what the results are. Liberals love revisionist history.

In the speech, during which he drew applause after speaking in Arabic for more than a minute, Brennan used terms evidently designed to appeal to his audience, such as “Al-Quds” for Jerusalem, “Palestine” and “as the Qur’an reveals” – in keeping with the Muslim belief that the Qur’an was “revealed” directly by Allah to Mohammed through the angel Jibril (Gabriel).

He condemned what he said were negative stereotypes in the U.S. about Muslims and hostility towards Islam, adding that government actions and policies had contributed to the problem but saying this would change under Obama.

“Ignorance is a threat to our national security, prejudice is a threat to our national security, discrimination is a threat to our national security. And those who purport to be religious are frequently the most egregious purveyors of ignorance, prejudice and discrimination – and it must stop,” he said.

Things have changed under Obama. Obama is now killing more Muslims and arming them at the same time (see Egypt, Libya, Syria et al.)

Two Pakistani “Religion of Peace” Followers Arrested in Florida for Plotting WMD Attack

Again, not all Muslims are terrorist but all terrorists arrested in the US have been Muslim.

(Reuters) – Two Pakistan-born brothers living in Florida have been arrested on charges of providing support to terrorists and conspiring to use a weapon of mass destruction within the United States, authorities said on Friday.

The men were charged in a grand jury indictment announced by the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Florida. Federal prosecutors allege the men, both U.S. citizens, provided money, housing, communications equipment and transportation as part of a conspiracy.

A statement from prosecutors said the brothers’ alleged goal was “to use a weapon of mass destruction (explosives) against persons and property within the United States”. It did not elaborate and U.S. officials declined to go into details but said the arrests were not the result of a sting operation.

“The investigation is continuing and we just won’t be able to give those specific details at this time,” said Alicia Valle, a spokeswoman for the U.S. Attorney’s office in Miami.

“Any potential threat posed by these two individuals has been disrupted,” U.S. Attorney Wifredo Ferrer said in a statement.

The accused were identified as Raees Alam Qazi, 20, and Sheheryar Alam Qazi, 30. They were arrested on Thursday in Fort Lauderdale and made an initial appearance in federal court on Friday.

Obama Camp Condemns Romney Before Condemning Attacks In Egypt, Libya

At 11:53pm last night Talking Points Memo released a statement from the Obama campaign condemning Mitt Romney for criticizing something the White House itself disavowed — an appalling apology issued by the State Department.

Eight hours later, President Obama finally got around to condemning the monsters who attacked us on our own soil and killed our fellow citizens.

Yesterday, on the 11th anniversary of September 11, the Obama White House snubbed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, accepted an invitation from David Letterman, and apologized to Islamists upset over a  film that mocks Islam and Mohammed — something “artists” in America do to Christianity with my tax dollars on a fairly regular basis.

First off: Why is our Embassy apologizing for a film no one has seen and apologizing for freedom of speech and expression? In a word, that’s un-American. And let’s remember that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton doubled down on the apology. Last night, though, the White House finally disavowed the apology, but now the hypocritical and wildly dishonest Obama campaign is lashing out at Mitt Romney for being critical of the same apology the White House itself disavowed.

Here’s the Romney statement:

I’m outraged by the attacks on American diplomatic missions in Libya and Egypt and by the death of an American consulate worker in Benghazi. It’s disgraceful that the Obama administration’s first response was not to condemn attacks on our diplomatic missions, but to sympathize with those who waged the attacks.

So I guess it’s okay for President Obama to criticize that disgraceful apology but not Romney. And now the left is claiming the apology in question from the U.S. Embassy in Cairo was made before the compound was attacked. But it’s just a fact that the on Twitter and elsewhere, even after the attack, that the Embassy defended and stood by the apology.  

And let me reiterate that after the attack, Hillary doubled down on it.

More Muslim Appeasement from Team Obama: US Bans Linking Terrorism to Muslims in Agent Training Manuals

More Muslim appeasement from the Obama regime. Pointing out the fact that Muslims are the group of religious radicals hell-bent on blowing people up in the US goes against the Obama regime’s narrative that it is “right-wing extremist” that have to be monitored.

To meet the Obama Administration’s high standards of political correctness, the U.S. government will change the way it trains agents to combat terrorism and violent extremism by eliminating all materials that shed a negative light on Muslims.

It’s a government-wide call to end Islamophobia, if you will. A few months after the White House ordered an investigation of government counterterrorism training, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has destroyed instructional material that characterizes Muslims as prone to violence or terrorism.

So far 700 pages of documents from about 300 presentations given to agents since the 2001 terrorist attacks have been purged, according to a news report published this week. The White House order came after the same publication reported in late November that the FBI, Department of Justice (DOJ) and Pentagon taught employees that mainstream Muslims embrace violence and compared the Islamic religion to the death star.

Last year Attorney General Eric Holder told Congress that anti-Muslim instructional materials hurt the country’s fight against terrorist groups like al-Qaeda. As a result of this mentality, the Joint Chiefs of Staff was asked to collect counterterrorism training materials at all military academies and academic centers such as the National Defense Intelligence College and the U.S. Army Combined Arms Center. The goal, evidently, is to banish any material that could be viewed as offensive to Muslims.

To fulfill the mission the FBI enlisted the Army Combating Terrorism Center at West Point to purge material that conflates terrorism with mainstream Islam, according to inside information cited in the news report. The cleansing also includes a White House review on any information related to “cultural awareness” training for troops that were preparing to deploy to the Middle East.
