Only the Emperor should be allowed the use of technology to spread the 'truth'
Bam the Bully just can’t stop. Every speech that he gives, Obama has to have a strawman to attack. His latest one is technology. According to the socialist Obama, technology is “putting new pressures on our country and democracy.” Sounds like someone wants to regulate freedom of speech and is upset that technology exposes people to the truth.
The Hill reports:
President Barack Obama cited the influx of new technology as “putting new pressures on our country and on our democracy” in a commencement address to graduates at Virginia’s Hampton University on Sunday.
“You’re coming of age in a 24/7 media environment that bombards us with all kinds of content and exposes us to all kinds of arguments, some of which don’t rank all that high on the truth meter,” Obama said. “With iPods and iPads; Xboxes and PlayStations; information becomes a distraction, a diversion, a form of entertainment, rather than a tool of empowerment.
“All of this is not only putting new pressures on you; it is putting new pressures on our country and on our democracy.”
First, we are not a democracy, we are a republic, as stated in a document Obama hates…The United States Constitution. Second…didn’t this asshole give the Queen of England an iPod with his favorite show tunes?
The only one who is putting pressure on our country and democracy is this socialist bastard. Again, Obama attacks the media (think Fox News) for not kissing and worshipping his ass ala Chrissy Matthews on MSDNC. This is what he believes is ‘pressure.’
“With so many voices clamoring for attention on blogs, on cable, on talk radio, it can be difficult, at times, to sift through it all; to know what to believe; to figure out who’s telling the truth and who’s not,” Obama said. “Let’s face it, even some of the craziest claims can quickly gain traction. I’ve had some experience with that myself. Fortunately, you’ll be well positioned to navigate this terrain.
“Your education has honed your research abilities, sharpened your analytical powers, and given you a context for understanding the world,” the president added. “Those skills will come in handy.”
This man is a danger to America, Americans and the U.S. Constitution. To stand in front of a group of recent college graduates and attack free speech is something only Obama’s socialist ass would do. Obama’s speech probably gave Hugo Chavez an erection.
It’s amusing to listen to this gas-bag speak about ‘the truth.’ Obama has told more lies in 15 months than the average citizen tells in their lifetime. A few of my favorite ones come from Obama’s stimulus bill and ObamaCare, but we all know what Obama considers the ‘truth.’
