Most of us knew this was the goal the entire time. It’s because we listened to what Democrats were saying…

Single payer was the goal the entire time.

CNSNews.com reports:

…Speaking with CNSNews.com after the event at the National Press Club, Conyers said,  “What we’re trying to do is insure everybody, right? We’re trying to insure more people, not less and so it’s my feeling that the rising costs that are going on will not be solved by getting rid of people’s health insurance–that throws them into emergency rooms and charity and other things. That’s why HR 676 is our ultimate solution–is that everybody’s insured from birth on and that’s what we’re still fighting for.”

CNSNews.com then asked Conyers, “Do you see a single-payer health care system ultimately in the United States?”

“Of course,” he said. “Universal health care–well, every industrial country on the planet already has a universal system of health care.”

When asked if he thinks President Obama’s health-care law will lead to a single-payer health-care system in the U.S., Conyers said: “Well it’s a platform. I don’t think they flow smoothly but without that, if we didn’t have this then health care, universal health care would be an even more difficult legislative objective,” he said.

The Socialist Progressives put forth a health care bill based on lies, fraud and manipulation. Their plan was to pass a bill that would cause medical costs and insurance premiums to rise. This has been accomplished, as Richard Foster, the Chief Actuary, has testified.

The main goal is to drive insurance companies out of business and to get Americans off of employer-paid health insurance, as Obama and other Democrats have stated. It’s all a fraud, sold by frauds who used fraud, lies and bribes to get it passed in order to ruin our health care system.

This is all being brought upon Americans by Socialist Progressive Democrats.

The attempts by Democrats to censor folks who have a different opinion is becoming a noise. Just this week we have Senator Jay Rockefeller who wants the FCC to take Fox News and MSNBC off the air and Al Sharpton wants the FCC to shut down Rush Limbaugh. This is where you can see the difference between Republicans and Democrats.

Republicans love the constitution. Democrats constantly attempt to change it. Republicans will use the remote control when they don’t like what they hear. Democrats demand censorship and want people’s opinions shut down.

So much for that tolerance.

Has anyone else noticed how the left is constantly attacking our first amendment rights of free speech? Since the election of Obama, the left has constantly attacked anyone who has a different opinion than they do. Obama, and several members of his administration, have openly attacked Fox News because Fox News doesn’t carry their water.

We have all this talk about ‘net-neutrality’ and the FCC and FTC are the talkers. This is the same FTC who recently dropped its investigation of Google who admitted to stealing people’s e-mails, passwords and IP address. Since Google has deep ties with Obama, the media pretty much ignore this story. Imagine if this had been a corporation tied to Bush who admitted to invading the privacy of taxpayers.

Remember, if they control the messenger, they control the message. This has been the goal since Feb. 2009. Obama appointed czars such as Cass Sunstein and Mark Lloyd along with White House communication director, Anita Dunn, who happen to be all for government controlled media through regulations. All three are fans of socialism. Shocking, I know.

Why are these Socialist Progressive Democrats openly against free speech? It’s because they are being exposed. If you control the media, you control the message and when you control the message, you can fool a lot of weak-minded individuals. Look at what the media did to get Obama elected. Imagine if they vetted Obama in the same fashion they vetted Sarah Palin.

The media covered up all the corrupt ties Obama had to Frank Marshall Davis, Rashid Khalidi, Bill Ayers, Rev. Wright, Tony Rezko, Rod Blagojevich, Van Jones, SEIU, ACORN, Code Pink…so on and so forth. I don’t have enough time to list all the radical ties Obama has, but you get the point. None of this was reported until after Obama was in office.

The desire to control the media is a desire to hide the truth. This is why we continue to hear all this talk about censorship and taking away people’s free speech and restricting the freedom of the press. Radicals are scared to be exposed and the truth does this.

To all the Progressive Socialist Democrats out there: If you don’t like something you hear…change the channel. This is still a free country, despite all the radical things you idiots have done the past two years. America has rejected you and your radical president.

To end. If you don’t like what I write…don’t read my articles.

Are you familiar with the term “a day late and a dollar short?” This describes Obama finally focusing on the record deficits he and his party have created. I guess after spending $3 Trillion in 20 months, Obama is going to pretend he is now concerned.

From the Associated Press:

Preparing for political life after a bruising election, President Barack Obama will put greater emphasis on fiscal discipline, a nod to a nation sick of spending and to a Congress poised to become more Republican, conservative and determined to stop him.

He is already giving clues about how he will govern in the last two years of his term.

Obama will try to make gains on deficit reduction, education and energy. He will enforce his health care and financial overhauls and try to protect them from repeal should Republicans win control of Capitol Hill. He will use executive authority when blocked by Congress, and steel for scrutiny and investigations if the GOP is in charge.

While trying to save money, Obama will have to decide whether to bend to Republican and growing Democratic pressure to extend Bush-era tax cuts, even for the wealthy, that expire at year’s end. Obama wants to extend them for people making less than $200,000 and married couples making less than $250,000, but a broader extension is gaining favor with an increasing number of Democrats.

The class warfare continue. Obama believes, like most socialist progressive democrats, that he should be allowed to redistribute the wealth by taking more money away from those who pay the most taxes already and giving it to 47% of Americans who pay no federal income tax at all.

Moving to the fore will be a more serious focus on how to balance the federal budget and pay for the programs that keep sinking the country into debt.

In other times, that discussion might seem like dry, Washington talk. Not now. People are fed up with federal spending, particularly as many remain jobless.

That is an understatement.

The White House refuses to talk about how the president will have to adjust his style or goals if power in Congress tilts right, for fear of undermining what Obama is still campaigning hard to do: keeping Democrats in power. There is no conceding as Obama recruits voters and rallies supporters all the way to Nov. 2.

Yet if polls and analysts are on target, Republicans are poised to win big, possibly taking control of the House and gaining seats in the Senate, where Obama’s party already lacks the votes to overcome bill-killing delay tactics. Obama probably will operate in an environment with even fewer moderate Republicans.

The president has signaled that at the start of the new year, he will speak more directly to the country about the financial choices ahead. ”If we’re going to get serious about the deficit, then we’re going to have to look at everything: entitlements, defense spending, revenues. … And that’s going to be a tough conversation,” he said.

Imagine if our government would just stop spending, bailing out corporations and playing police for the world, how much money we could save.

It’s one that will be framed by a bipartisan debt commission, whose ideas this December will give Obama political cover on where to suggest unpopular cuts.

This commission was put in place to cover Obama’s ass when he raises taxes on those of us who make below $250,000.

Obama says the most frustrating part of his presidency is that he had to keep spending money and adding to the deficit in his first six months in office “to save the economy.” He has from the start called deficit reduction a goal, but one that had to get bumped in favor of sparking the economy.

Obama spent almost $1 trillion in his first month is office with his stimulus bill. He has “saved the economy” by producing higher unemployment, lower GDP and record deficits. The numbers don’t lie.

Jerry Brown has already ruined California once, now he could do it again in 2010. This is Brown’s idea about how to turn things around in California. This is from a 1995 radio broadcast and you can see where this type of Socialist Progressive Democrats is taking California.

Jerry Brown on Welfare:

The conventional viewpoint says we need a jobs program and we need to cut welfare. Just the opposite! We need more welfare and fewer jobs. Jobs for every American is doomed to failure because of modern automation and production. We ought to recognize it and create an income-maintenance system so every single American has the dignity and the wherewithal for shelter, basic food, and medical care. I’m talking about welfare for all. Without it, you’re going to have warfare for all. Without a universal health care like every other civilized country, without a minimum level of income, this country will explode. You can’t blame the guy at the bottom forever. At some point there’s a reaction and we’ll see that the real criminals are those calling the tune, making the rules, and walking to the bank. We have the money, we have the brain power. The United States now has the highest measured wealth of any nation ever in the history of the world. We could rebuild our cities, we could create the kind of buying power and community well-being that will provide for peace. The guaranteed income is one way. Another way is to have always the availability of work in a nonprofit, in community service. A third is to start giving people training to develop skills where they can be self-supporting. You could come up with a cash supplement. Even conservatives have suggested a negative income tax to cut out the bureaucracy. If we were smart, we’d get rid of welfare and give people a family assistance like they do in Europe.

Spoken like a typical Socialist Progressive Democrat. Californians better wake up or you will get what you deserve. Welfare and pensions are killing California. Californians better get this information out before November 2nd. Remember Jerry Brown’s first round of governorship?

H/T to Jim

Now why wouldn’t Americans favor the two Socialist Progressive Democrats that gave them a failed $862 billion stimulus, $1 trillion plus ObamaCare and financial reform that doesn’t cover Freddie & Fannie? Why wouldn’t Americans favor these two outstanding leaders who have doubled the unemployment rate and tripled the budget deficit in 2009. I just can’t figure out why Americans dislike these two libtards. Maybe it was how they ran the most open, most honest and most ethical Congress in history?

Rasmussen reports:

In addition to becoming competitive in his bid for reelection in Nevada, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is now nearly tied with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi when it comes to unpopularity among voters nationwide.

A new Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Voters across the country finds that 56% have at least a somewhat unfavorable opinion of Reid, while 59% feel the same way about Pelosi.

The good news for Reid that these figures include 47% with a Very Unfavorable opinion of Pelosi, while just 38% hold a Very Unfavorable opinion of him.

Twenty-six percent (26%) have a favorable opinion of the Nevada Democrat, but that includes just five percent (5%) with a Very Favorable view. Thirty-four percent (34%) regard the San Francisco congresswoman favorably, with 13% Very Favorable toward her.

Still, 19% don’t know enough about Reid to venture any kind of opinion about him, while only seven percent (7%) have no opinion of Pelosi.

Neither Democratic congressional leader has been particularly popular since the current session of Congress began early last year, but Pelosi has been the better-known and least popular of the duo for most of that time. Pelosi’s unfavorables have ranged from 52% to 64% in that time period, while Reid’s generally remained in the 40s last year but have been consistently in the 50s since then.

But then the majority of voters nationwide believe the Democratic congressional agenda is extreme, while a plurality describes the Republican agenda as mainstream.

"We the People" are what Government needs to fear

How pathetic are we Americans? Our ancestors fought to be independent from a country that believed the government knew what was best for them. They revolted when King George III placed a tax on their favorite drink… Tea. Remember Patrick Henry’s famous quote ”Give me liberty, or give me death?”

Look at how we are ruled now by the elite politicians who continues to claim they know what’s best for the country and place higher taxes upon the people. We, the People, continue to look to elite politicians to solve the problems they have created. Does this make a lick of sense?

Our ancestors, sickened by the arrogance of the ruling class in Great Britain, decided to take action and drew up the Declaration of Independence. They wanted to free themselves from the elitists and their government knows best ideology. Our ancestors wanted to be free to live their lives as they deemed fit.

Today, we have politicians who have the same ideology as the King of Great Britain. These politicians have openly admitted that it is them that know what is best for the populace. The elitists in Congress, for many years, have worked hard to put in place a system that tears apart our U.S. Constitution and its being done in the “we know what’s best for you” lingo.

Remember being taught in school about “no taxation without representation” and no “double taxation?” Look at the amount of taxes, we the people, pay today. These elitist politicians have robbed us for too long.

Our tax system is erroneously flawed. We have 47% of Americans who pay no federal income tax at all and receive tax refunds. How is that fair? The top 10% of income earners are paying 73% of all federal income taxes. Why should the productive be responsible for such a high amount?

Currently we find ourselves with a stagnant economy; high unemployment; increases in both bankruptcies and foreclosures and a government who refuses to stop spending money they do not have. All we the people hear is how it is necessary to continue this deficit spending to get us out of this hole caused by the same politicians who created the mess.

What do we the people do? We bitch and whine but that’s about as far as it goes. We continue to turn to the ones who caused the mess and expect these same corrupt elitists to clean it up. It’s a never-ending cycle.

We the People must begin to take action. We need to band together and write another Declaration of Independence. This time it should be to gain independence from corrupt Washington, DC.

We the People must demand that government stop spending money we don’t have. We must demand that Congress stick to it’s budget. Today, we have a Congress being ruled by Socialist Progressive Democrats who ‘deemed and passed” a fake $1.12 trillion budget without any fiscal restraints. How will all this spending be paid for?

It will be paid for by raising taxes on everyone in 2011. The entitlements of Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid are truly unsustainable. Just those three entitlement programs, championed by the same elitist politicians, are in the red by over $100 Trillion dollars

We the People, find ourselves being governed by those who do not have the best intentions for the people or the country. We have a government that has taken over the auto, banking, financial and health care industries. We have a government that continues to bail out special interests groups while handing the taxpayer the bill. Who is struggling right now? Is it the corporations, banks or Unions? No, it is We the People who are struggling to survive and we do so by staying within our means.

Our misrepresenting representatives are the sole reason we have this mess today. Their know-it-all attitudes are responsible. They constantly close their eyes and place their hands over their ears while We the People scream.

It’s time We the People do something about this corruption and unconstitutional invasion of our lives. The government has too much power. Thomas Jefferson said “When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty.

That’s where we need to change things. The government has absolutely no fear of the people. They have openly attacked and slandered We the People who speak out against their tyranny. It is done because they have no fear.

It’s time We the People declare our independence from elitist politicians and their big government ideology. It’s time to take back our country from corrupt politicians. It’s time to require our representatives to listen and follow the U.S. Constitution when it comes to passing laws.

We the people must get out and vote these elitists out in November and demand real change in 2012. We the People must continue to use our 1st Amendments rights and hold these politicians accountable in the face of being attacked, slandered and ridiculed. The government must fear We the People.

This Gallup Poll is sure to piss off all the Socialist Progressive Democrats and the entire crew over on MSNBC.

Self-described Tea Party supporters differ from those neutral or opposed to the movement on the issues they perceive as threats to the future of the United States, most notably federal government debt and the size and power of the federal government. They are essentially indistinguishable from those who do not support the Tea Party in their perceptions of unemployment and racial discrimination as future threats to the country.

Ed Morrissey over at HotAir.com has an interesting take on this poll.

You’d never know that from watching CNN or MSNBC coverage of the Tea Party movement.  News cameras search for the most provocative signs that they can find at rallies and then give viewers the impression that everyone at the rallies supports it.  In truth, as Gallup and Winston Group have repeatedly found, the Tea Party movement reflects the general American population very closely indeed.

The differences are worth noting, however. On federal debt, 61% of Tea Party supporters consider it an “extremely serious threat,” as do 44% of neutrals. For both groups, however, it is the top concern. Among opponents, it ties for fifth place with terrorism. Healthcare costs come in first for opponents, with 33% of them selecting it as an “extremely serious threat” to future American wellbeing. It comes in tied for fifth with immigration among Tea Party supporters — but more of them select it as an extremely serious threat, at 41%. Terrorism comes in at #2 for Tea Party supporters and neutrals, putting them essentially on the same page, and making a good argument that it isn’t the Tea Party that’s out of the mainstream, but its opponents…

You just know those lily-white news readers over at MSNBC will blow a fuse over this poll. How will they explain away the fact that Tea Party participants are more mainstream than those who watch their channel? Glenn Beck is smiling while Keith Olbermann, Rachel Maddow and Ed Shultz are looking more out-of-touch with America. No wonder their viewership is dropping.

Look, another Socialist Progressive Democrat promoting the “spread the wealth” propaganda.

FoxNation.com reports:

Hillary Clinton spoke at the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute in Kyiv, Ukraine on July 2, 2010:

It’s important, too, that we look at how to promote broadly-based prosperity. One of the problems in societies around the world today is that too much of the productivity of the economies are going to too few. Too few people, the political and economic elite, are realizing the vast majority of benefits from economic activity. It’s true in my own country where, unfortunately, economic inequality is increasing. And it’s true in Ukraine. It’s true in Europe and Asia and Africa and South America. So part of the challenge of economic growth and prosperity is to make sure it gets down and equally spread among people. And we have to work towards spurring investment and long-term growth in Ukraine. And we have to work together to end corruption in both the public and the private sectors.

Yes, let’s take from the productive in society and give it to the unproductive in order to make them feel better. Let’s steal from hardworking Peter to pay lazy Paul. Socialist are idiots because sooner-or-later, they eventually run out of other people’s money. Socialism never works. Look at its history or travel to Venezuela for proof.

I would like to suggest some needed reading for Socialist Progressive Democrats like Hillary Clinton. It’s an Aesop fable entitled “The Ant and the Grasshopper.” It should be required reading for all school-aged children but progressives hate this story.

You can watch the video over at TheRightScoop.
